I stand behind Ethan with my head throbbing as Zane leaves.
My mouth tastes like regret and cheap tequila, and I sigh dramatically as I rub my temples.
"I'm hungry," I mutter, and Ethan turns to me slowly, like I've just insulted the dead.
"…You're hungry?" he repeats, and I raise a brow.
Since when is it a crime to be hungry??
"Of course I'm hungry," I snap.
"It's not good to be hungover on an empty stomach. My body is already threatening mutiny." I add, and he waves his hands dramatically at the living room.
"Anu," he says, like I'm some frustrating toddler,
"Look around. Do you really think food is the priority right now?" He demands, and I shrug.
