Chapter 2—The meet
Darian had just entered the club after his last job that night, feeling all gloomy and tired. He decided to burn himself in alcohol, but his attention shifted to the crowd cheering out the name Lorine! Lorine! And he soon came to realize why. Then his eyes shifted onto the stage where he saw her and, for some reason, he couldn't help but stare and feel attracted to her. 'She's beautiful,' he said to himself as he began to walk to the bar to get his drink, when he felt someone watching him and as he turned his eyes met with her and for a second there he felt like he was lost in an abyss the way she stared made him almost blush, but he smirked instead, and she blushed which made him chuckle as he walked off.
"So, it seems like Lorine is having it, huh... CeCe." Lily said
"Ohh yeah, and he's hot too."
Lorine watched in embarrassment as her friends teased her. "Stop you guys, I don't like him."
"But you are attracted to him. I mean, look at the guy. He's definitely your type," Cece said.
"Yeah, girl, you've got to talk to him."
"Let's just forget it." She brushed it off as she was about to go. She was stopped by someone, and as she looked up, it was none other than Joelyn. She and Lorine used to be close friends, but she grew jealous and drifted away from her. Since then, she has always picked on Lorine at every chance she gets.
"Are you done kissing every guy that says Hi, What's your name, Joelyn? " Cece glared as she said that.
"Well, if it isn't the royal, loyal dogs of the princess." Joelyn mockingly said.
"Shut up, you know jealousy is a nasty color."
"Whatever, anyway, I heard your conversation, and you know what, you should forget about it because obviously he's too hot for you."
"Excuse me." Lorine glared.
"You know I am not lying."
"You know what, Joelyn, you are so fake," Lorine said as she left the club in anger, not knowing why, but she just couldn't stand that lying bitch.
