And without even waiting for them to reply, he continued as he walks to the sit opposite Rihannat beside his elder brother.
His gaze penetrating her like a businessman he is, trying to read and see through her soul. A smirk dancing on his lips.
Rihannat is avoiding marriage for something bigger. You are the only child of your parents. And you know they are older now, they have spent all their earnings on you and even at this old age their pension is still being used to sponsor your education. Your mum manage a little shop at home where their food comes from. They will rather send all the pension money to her and starve themselves than let her suffer. Right?
So, you want your parents to have it better with all they are doing for you. You believe they deserve a stress free and honorable life in the future, so you choose a straightforward way " to succeed, make it in life, eradicate poverty in your family and give them the better life they deserve in their final years ". He sideglanced his elder brother then turn back to the stunned Rihannat, he continued.
A man can help you but he has his boundaries and the limit he can go for you. Rihannat heart hammered in her chest. She felt too open and it unsettles her. She felt exposed of what she has been keeping for a long time. Am l right? Miss future millionaire or should l say billionaire?

Rihannat mind was anything but calm even if she tries to compose herself, some cracks were starting to appear.
"Brother Olalekan don't look at me like that it wasn't in her file. I just take a guess and it seems I'm right after all." He told his brother who was looking at him as if he excluded that part from the file he gave him since he is the one who investigated.
I really wish you are my daughter you know. He dropped suddenly with a funny expression. His whole demeanor changes from the serious and logistic businessman to a playful character.
Qazeem burst into laughter while Rihannat felt her tense muscle relaxed.
Qazeem knew his brother is trying to lighten Rihannat mood so he joined the fun.
At your age, are you sure you can afford it? Qazeem said.
That is the problem bro! Just imagine my future and our lineage if she's my daughter. Ahhh. He made a fake regretful sigh.
Rihannat laughter echoed after, as she was surprised that even oladeji is this hilarious!
The two brothers gave off the cold vibes but she didn't know they can be humorous and hilarious too! It was too funny. The both of them really open her eyes. Cold outside but warm inside. They look entirely different from their usual self.
Rihannat laughter drew so many eyes towards them and among are very hostile ones from folakemi's friend sitting afar from them.
Why is she with the two brothers? One of them asked

She returned to her sit after some minute. She said" all her facade will crumble today." Let's see how she behave like holy marry again after today. Smirking deviously.
Some of her friends shiver seeing the cold look on her face. "A look that says, this is not her first time."
At Rihannat table***
Care for a drink Rihannat? I feel parched. Oladeji asked as he touched his throat.
Bro what will you take? Water or malt?
"Anyone is fine" Olalekan replied .
"Anything" Rihannat answered too.
He waved at a serving girl nearby who came to them. Get us some chilled drinks pls. And please be fast with it.
The girl left and return later with some soft drinks on her pushing cart. She put them on their table with three glasses. Fruits and snacks were added too. "How thoughtful of her" Oladeji thanked her as she left.
Rihannat mind wandered. She didn't even know the lady as came back. Her thought was " Oladeji is really a highly Intelligent man, he grasped all what she didn't tell anyone for so many years just through her profile on paper and little hints. He really proves himself as a genius. Maybe their gene is why folakemi is also brilliant even if she goes clubbing all the time. They are all impressive.
"Down to earth madam!" Olalekan said, snapping Rihannat back to realization.
Sorry, do l miss something? She asked them.
No. But you look of our world, like you just traveled to the space. Oladeji replied her.
She smiled. She can't believe they are so free with her now. The two behaves differently with other people. She confirmed that with how she saw them relating with people at the party even when they are the host.
The words flew out before she knows. "Do you have two personalities?" When she saw them looking at her funnily, she corrected herself. " l mean sometimes you act cold, sometimes warm toward people. "
The two brothers looked at eachother and smile. Oladeji said; "No Rihannat, we don't have two personalities. It's called boundaries to avoid snake and scorpion bite in the business world. And our family is like a hot potato dear, if we are not like this, everyone will want a partnership in the name of friend. Reason why we are like this but you are different.
Though you are not part of our family but can you please take this place as your home too. Feel free visit our office too if you wish, don't reject please, we will appreciate it, we feel a bond with you, please feel free to visit us as from now onwards. And don't bother with folakemi, you don't need her permission to visit us." Olalekan concluded.
