Upon arrival, Basit could attest that the location was ideal for studying due to its tranquility, but also posed a danger due to its seclusion. He thought to himself, "Isn't it perilous for a girl like her to be here alone?" Before approaching her, he noticed her engrossment in reading and decided not to disturb her. Basit sat down near a pillar, took out his book, and began reading alongside her. After thirty minutes, he glanced up to find her still immersed in her book, which impressed him. Her dedication to her studies was evident, and he couldn't help but stare at her affectionately.
Unaware of Basit's gaze, Rihannat continued reading until he finally decided to approach her. Startled by his sudden presence, she almost screamed, but Basit quickly covered her mouth. Once she composed herself, she asked Basit what had happened. He inquired about her safety, expressing concern that the location might not be suitable for a lady. Rihannat acknowledged his concerns, assuring him that she would prioritize her safety from then on.
Basit offered to accompany Rihannat to ensure her safety, which caught her off guard. She struggled to respond, unsure of how to react to his offer. Basit reassured her that his intentions were pure, and he only wanted to ensure her well-being. Rihannat eventually agreed, and they discussed their class schedules.
As they conversed, Basit inquired about Rihannat's reasons for not wanting a relationship. She declined to share her reasons, and Basit chose not to press the issue. Instead, he suggested they eat together, and Rihannat offered him her homemade food. Basit was delighted by the meal's aroma and taste, and he ended up finishing most of the food. Rihannat laughed and joked with him, putting him at ease.
As they finished their meal, Basit couldn't help but admire Rihannat's authenticity and natural behavior. He found himself drawn to her uniqueness and sincerity. Rihannat, on the other hand, was grateful for Basit's company and felt a sense of comfort around him.
