Chapter 8 - Volume 8 (Chapter 8)

My Girlfriend Is Stronger Than the Demon Lord – Volume 8 (Chapter 8)

The next morning, the demon realm felt… normal. If normal in this context meant hundreds of demons bowing to my girlfriend, floating lava lamps illuminating every hallway, and a parade of goblins delivering breakfast on silver platters.

Aria sighed as she examined her new throne. "This is ridiculous. Why do I need a throne made of molten rock and dragon teeth?"

One of the tiny demon assistants scurried over. "It's symbolic, my Lady. Your power is absolute, but you must also inspire fear and awe."

Aria groaned. "I just want to have a normal day off… maybe read a book…"

I chuckled. "Good luck with that now."

She shot me a glare that could level mountains. "Eren!"

Just then, a loud BOOM shook the castle.

A group of armored demons burst into the hall, led by a demon with a jagged scar across his face. "Battle Goddess! We bring word from the northern tribes! They refuse to recognize your rule!"

Aria's eyes narrowed. "Seriously? First day as Demon Lord and people are already complaining?"

I tried to be supportive. "You handled the Demon Lord Varzath… maybe this will be easy?"

Aria pinched the bridge of her nose. "Eren, you have no idea…"

Before she could move, the northern demon leader charged, swinging his massive spiked mace. Aria yawned, raised a single hand, and the mace stopped midair—hovering like a feather in zero gravity.

"I was hoping we could negotiate like civilized rulers," she muttered. "But if you insist…"

With a snap of her fingers, the mace gently floated back to the northern leader, who fell to his knees. "I… I yield, my Lady…"

The northern demons scrambled to bow.

I blinked. "She just… stopped him… without even hitting him."

Aria smiled softly, brushing her hair behind her ear. "I told you, Eren. Strength isn't just about fighting. Sometimes… it's about knowing they won't win."

I held her hand, feeling a mix of awe and disbelief. "And you're telling me you just want a peaceful life?"

Aria giggled. "Exactly. But apparently, the entire demon realm has other plans."

And so began our life in the demon realm: peaceful, chaotic, and absolutely impossible.
