Volume 16: The Final Rift
The northern skies burned red as the remnants of the Void Sovereign coalesced into a towering shadow. Its form pulsed violently, black and crackling with chaotic energy.
Elias gritted his teeth, twin marks blazing brighter than ever. "It's regrouped… stronger than before."
Azeryn's wings spread wide, flames flickering around her. "Then we hit it with everything we've got. This ends tonight."

The Unified Front
The human and demon armies had fully adapted to working together. Spellcasters and mages formed layered barriers, archers flanked warriors, and scouts mapped every approach. The battlefield was a symphony of coordination, every unit moving in harmony under Elias and Azeryn's guidance.
Rydell rode beside Varak, shouting orders. "Hold the lines! Watch for weak points! Trust your allies!"
Elias and Azeryn took their place at the heart of the formation. The Crown of Realms glowed between them, a blazing aura radiating outward, bolstering morale and energy.
"This is more than a battle," Elias said to Azeryn. "It's the survival of both realms."

The Clash with Shadows
The Void Sovereign lashed out, tendrils of shadow tearing across the plains. Soldiers struggled under its attacks, but Elias raised his hands, launching waves of golden-crimson energy that shattered the advancing tendrils.
Azeryn soared into the fray, her dark fire cutting through clusters of void creatures. Every strike, every spell, every movement was perfectly synchronized with Elias's attacks.
"Elias! Aim for the core of the rift!" Azeryn shouted.
Elias focused all his power into the Crown of Realms. Light and shadow intertwined, forming a massive spear of energy. With a roar, he plunged it into the heart of the rift.

The Turning Point
The Void Sovereign screamed, its fragmented body writhing violently as the energy ripped through it. Shadows convulsed and dissolved, unable to withstand the combined force of the king and queen.
The armies of humans and demons cheered cautiously, hope returning. Azeryn descended to Elias's side, flames and aura blending with his energy.
"We did it… together," she said, eyes shimmering.
Elias nodded, exhausted but resolute. "This is just the beginning of rebuilding, but nothing can stop us if we stay united."
The final rift closed. The Void Sovereign's remnants vanished—or so it seemed. For now, peace had returned, but both realms knew the future would demand vigilance.
And standing together, Elias and Azeryn had become more than rulers—they had become legends.
