Our story starts with crater-like formation between what seem like collapse of multiple skyscrapers in midst of city due to heavy explosion. Multiple skyscrapers decimated and levelled like a plain the area is close to a large circular stadium in size. With ruins and debris with poking broken walls, pillars, construction rod in between the area.
The surrounding area seems to have broken skyscrapers with walls & glass gone or mostly partially cut down. Floor can be clearly seen with mostly ruined or burned furniture.
The scene seems like a post-apocalyptic scene. However, zooming out we find this areais close to city and seems to be bombed out. This was a developing extension of city New Angia. Fortunately, these were mostly new constructions and loss of life is very little.
A large army helicopter almost a kilometer away and completely sealed doors.
Inside it,
Vanessa (worried and shouting): Ethan are you out of your mind. I hear you and few members of your team are jumping into it. The explosion took out 3 sectors. This can be miniature nuclear explosion and have radioactivity.
Ethan: It's just me, teams at backup. I am enough for this clown. Also, I have testified it's not radioactive. It's just multiple strong RDX based bombs detonated simultaneously. I have verified. Stay put and I am logging off for now.
Venessa (panicked): Ethan, Ethan…!!!!
Steward: Madam Governor, please calm down. Your blood pressure will spike.
Meanwhile, in middle of the destructed site, a man dressed in complete tactical gear carrying a sheathed katana on back and multiple knife proper both properly sheathed in very high-end combat suit. He's running with a Semi-Automatic Machine gun resembling MP5. He runs at seemingly very high pace within the bombed-out zone, dodging through debris and tactically halting behind broken pillar, ducking from enemy shots effortlessly. He moves on battlefield like it's a walk in the park. This is the protagonist, Ethan.
When he reaches close to middle of crater a small concrete building with only walls and no roof, windows and doors which are fully opened has a man hiding within it. A helicopter which just seems recently been damaged but mostly intact was lying close to the building.
Ethan suddenly finds himself surrounding by at least 5 men and notices a sniper aiming. They were wearing high end tactical suit, but it looked less advanced than what the protagonist was wearing.
He shouts in very confident and radiant voice, "You coward Edgar, do you think this puny gang will save you."
Edgar: Ethan you fucking psycho, you will never find me even if you even kill the whole world. I will be ahead of you. You cut off my escape route, destroyed my escape helicopter and got me stuck back at the explosion zone.
The protagonist Ethan's playful smile can seen thru the helmet and he vanishes. He dashes at least at speed of 60 kmph in an instant. Just as one of the mercenaries tries to shoot he threw the mercenary using his speed effectively to another one. The movement was precise and accurate even at that speed. Then as they fall, he shoots them in the head with immense precision.
He then runs and dodges shots and goes hides behind a pillar and then emerged out tossing a hand grenades at extreme precision. This took out 1 more of merc. The other mercenaries got distracted and he appeared near them and in less than a second diced two of them with a katana.
The remaining snipper merc left and started running out of this area forsaking his mission. He was suddenly himself, shot by a sniper. A figure in dark, resembling slim women in on the floors of the distant surrounding building with broken wall made the shot and vanished within it.
All this happened in less than 2 minutes. Edgar holding 0.5 inch bore desert eagle handgun was it his wits end. He knew Ethan and his team surrounded him. Ethan appeared in front of him and sliced his arm before he could react. His hand holding the gun fell and next second, he was sliced into half from abdomen.
