Kaelen spent a week in Rix's hideout. He wasn't idle. He was grinding.
He couldn't enter dungeons, so he hunted Sewer Beasts. He bound the Aspect of Night Vision from a Shadow Rat. He bound the Aspect of Harden from an Armored Beetle.

Rix was busy modifying her bike (The "Sky-Piercer") to withstand the atmospheric pressure of the lower clouds.
"You need gear," Rix said, throwing him a bundle. It was a suit of armor made from scrapped Inquisitor droids. Matte grey, sleek, and undetectable by radar.
"I call it the Phantom Suit," Rix said proudly. "It amplifies your stealth stats."
Kaelen put it on. He looked like a shadow assassin.
"Why are you coming with me?" Kaelen asked.
Rix looked at her mechanical arm. "My brother tried to fly down there three years ago. The System deleted him. I want to find his body."
"Fair enough," Kaelen said.

He looked at the Black Box. Inside, he could feel a pull. A magnetic attraction. Somewhere below the clouds, the Shadow Monarch Umbra was waiting. And Umbra had fallen to corruption eons ago.
"Ready?" Rix revved the engine.
"Let's crash this game," Kaelen said.
