Beyond the gate, the world was wild.
Starry Wisdom found a grove of singing crystals. She built a palace of light.
Brave Sun found a barren wasteland. He built a fortress of skulls.
Brave Sun looked at his sister's palace. It shone in the night.
"Why does she have the light?" he growled.
He felt a green slime oozing in his stomach. It was Envy.
Envy spoke to him. "She stole your luck. She stole your birthright."
Brave Sun went to the Swamp of Envy. He caught the Green Toad. He squeezed it until it turned into a Liquid Poison.
"I will put out her light," Brave Sun decided.
He crept to her palace. He poured the poison into the singing crystals.
The crystals turned black. They stopped singing. They began to scream.
Starry Wisdom woke up. She saw her beautiful home dying. She saw her brother's footprints.
She did not cry. She looked through her Prism of Wisdom.
"If he wants war," she said coldly, "I will teach him what war is."
