The Gita is a vast ocean of knowledge; it holds within it an infinite treasure trove of great conquerors, scholars, and philosophers. Even the words of Lord Krishna, like those of the great, are thwarted, because only Lord Krishna knows its essence. After him, the compiler is Vyas, and the listener is Arjuna. For a mere bird to understand the meaning and significance of such a profound, mysterious knowledge is like trying to understand the infinite sky.

They are two devotions: Jnananishtha, or Sankhya Yoga, and Yoganishtha, or Karma Yoga (3.3).
