Chapter 7 - When You Are Weak, Do Not Covet What Belongs to Others

Danilo looked at the Opportunity Stone in his hands and thought about what he could ask for.

This is a game world. There will be monster drops. And if it's like in the novels, drops must be rare…

He considered wishing for some luck-related talent.

Then he remembered loyalty. In the Novice Mission, he died betrayed. He still didn't truly understand why the mission had been considered perfectly completed. Maybe the mission had been to free humans, or to elevate his status. But one thing was certain: he died betrayed. Betrayed by his own disciple.

So seeing loyalty was extremely important. He fell into a dilemma.

"Drops that will represent wealth… or the ability to see loyalty?"

"No, old man. I can't let you waste another great opportunity," Pancho said, grabbing his hand. "You already ruined the weapon. I can't let you ruin the Wish Stone too."

"So what do you want to do?" Danilo asked, looking at his son with interest.

"With this stone, we need to think of a supreme ability or talent—like the Incomparable career. With that career, you became almost invincible. So we need something like a control-type skill, or something related to life, like an SSS-level Divine Craftsman, who can create anything with the right materials and imagination. Or something like a True Sight Eye, that warns you about anything hidden. Or an eye that sees loyalty and the thoughts of others. We need something that gives us a real advantage… Oh my God! Now I know what you should ask for!" he said, ecstatic.

Both Danilo and Kiala stared at him with extreme doubt at the exaggerated reaction.

Suddenly, Pancho grabbed his phone, opened his notes, and wrote something.

"Since we only have one chance, I remembered a title that has the perfect answer to our problem. This title is from the webnovel Chicana Dynasty: The Legend of the Nameless Sword."

When Danilo heard that, he froze in shock. Before reincarnating, he had been a webnovel author. And that book… was exactly the one Pancho was talking about.

What the hell… he thought.

Coincidence? Impossible. Did he not reincarnate into another planet, but instead into Earth? Why did he reincarnate without even dying? Why didn't he just continue his old life? Did God intervene after analyzing his little heart and deciding his potential was being wasted as a "Kunanga," an unemployed/mediocre writer?

He chose to ignore it for now and focused on what his son said. And indeed, there was a title in that novel that matched perfectly.

He closed his eyes and wished for what he wanted.

TITLE: Supreme Monarch

1. Monarch's Aura: Forces submission. Aura range is 20 meters × level.

2. Monarch's Word: Controls everything through spoken commands.

3. Monarch's Heart: Can specify drops.

4. Monarch's Gaze: Can see the deepest thoughts and loyalty of others.

"No!" Pancho screamed as he saw the Wish Stone disappear.

"It's over. Another great opportunity wasted…" he muttered in despair.

"Why didn't you listen to me, old man? Why…?" he asked, helpless, his eyes red and moist.

Danilo opened the panel for his children to see. After reading it, Pancho instantly brightened up.

"That's it! That's exactly the talent I wanted! Hahahahaha!"

"But how did you know that's what I wanted?" Pancho asked.

"Maybe because I'm your father and once saw it by accident…"

"So what profession will you two choose?" Danilo asked the kids.

"I wanted to choose Warrior, but since you managed to change professions at level 0, I believe there's a mechanism to switch into a hidden profession if you don't choose a basic one first. Otherwise, we'd have to wait until level 10 to evolve whatever basic profession we pick," Pancho said after thinking.

"And also, you have that talent that lets you share abilities with descendants, so I'll wait until you choose some of your skills. That way I'll feel much more confident," he added.

"I don't know… I'll just follow what you both recommend," Kiala said.

"Wait, you still have the summoning of three characters!" Pancho exclaimed excitedly.

"So, old man, let's summon them," he said.

Danilo looked around.

"Better if we return home first. I don't want to attract unnecessary attention. After the noise you made, there are surely people watching us. Even if I'm powerful, you two are not," Danilo said, as the ring on his left ring finger glowed and transformed into a bow.

He pulled the string, and energy formed into an arrow. He aimed at a man about 30 meters away and released.

The arrow shot forward at terrifying speed, striking the man—but instead of blood, a glowing barrier appeared.

WARNING: FIGHTING IS FORBIDDEN IN THE ENTRY HALL!!

Everyone jumped in shock at Danilo's action. No one expected someone bold—and insane—enough to attack in front of so many people. This world clearly had laws and rules.

"The next time I see you, I'll kill you," Danilo said coldly to the terrified man, who had fallen from the impact on the system's barrier.

Thanks to the shield, the man survived.

"When you're weak, do not covet what belongs to others," Danilo said while disappearing with his children, leaving the man trembling in fear and anger.
