Dorothy's POV
I still can't wrap my head around Dr. Anker showing up here like he owns the place. The nerve of that man, thinking he could waltz in and take control of my hospital right in front of Joseph. My mate made it crystal clear that this facility belongs to me now.
I must be talking to myself again because Natasha keeps shooting me amused glances while she helps me seal off Karl's internal bleeding. That's what nearly killed him. His heart was working overtime, pumping blood that was leaking out just as fast.
"There," I announce, stepping away from the operating table. "Stitch him up and monitor him closely. If Dr. Anker dragged himself back here, how many additional nurses came with him?"
"Just two more, Luna. That's our entire staff."
"One physician and five nurses for an entire pack of injured warriors. We'll have to make it work." I wipe my hands on a towel. "Who handles the medical supply orders around here?"
"That would be me, Luna."
