It's been two weeks since the incident at the club house. Everything was going on well for Nikita and the company. Lorenzo too has not stopped looking for her. Nikita was in her office when Amanda budge in startling her.
"Nikita!!" She shouted rushing to sit on the couch without even being asked to sit.
"What again?" Nikita asked, feeling annoyed already.
"Just come here." She said nudging her to sit down.
"I found something." She said making Niki frown her brows.
"What?" Nikita asked feeling bored already.
"I've found the person." She said making her more confused.
"And who are we talking about here?" Nikita asked.
"The man, I mean the one from that day The nightstand. I've found out everything about him but you won't believe what I'm about to tell you."
"What? Oh GOD. How did this happened? Why must it be him?" Niki asked, getting up and ruffling her hair.
"What do you mean Nikita? We both were desperate to look for the person, now we've found him you're saying something else." Amanda said frowning her brows.
"Amanda, he's the one. The same man who signed the contract with my company." Nikita said going crazy.
"Niki, do you know he's one of the ruthless CEOs in the country. He fires anyone who tries to mess with his company. Nikita, when he finds out, you're surely out of the fashion industry." Amanda said with much seriousness on her face. Nikita was still going crazy about what Amanda said. She looked at her and frown her brows.
"Amanda, are you even my friend? You're scaring me instead of encouraging and comforting me, instead, you're scaring me." Niki said and got up. Went to the door and opened it for Amanda to get out.
"Are you kidding me? Nikita seriously, what did I say wrong? I was just telling you what he's like." Amanda said but Nikita stood firm on her decision. Amanda had no choice but to leave the place. "You've been acting really strange for the past two weeks." Amanda said and left the place then bam. Nikita banged the door. Making her startled. "What's wrong with her?" She asked her assistant who was sitting at the secretariat.
"I don't know ma'am, she has been like that for the past two weeks and she is always feeling nauseous and weak all the time which worries me a lot. I hope she'll recover soon." Nazi said and sighed. "I hope she'll recover soon too." Amanda said and glanced at the door before leaving the place.
Meanwhile in Lorenzo's company, he was seen receiving a call when Leo entered. He sat on the couch without being asked to sit.
"What do you want?" Lorenzo asked after he had hanged up.
"I just wanted to tell you I've gotten something about the lady from the other night." He said and slipped a brown envelope on the table.
"And why are you helping? I thought you wanted to see me like this" Lorenzo said making Leo had a look that says 'seriously?'.
"It's everything you need to know about her. I'm trying really hard to amend my mistakes so please consider it for once." He sighed, stood up and left the place.
Lorenzo opened the envelope and pulled out the documents. He scanned through but he stopped when he found some shocking. Her information matched that of the CEO of MANORISA. He took the office phone and dialed his assistant's landline number. At two rings the call was answered.
"Sir, what can I do for you?" He said and with a little hint of fear in his voice.
"Bring me all the information about MANORISA FASHION DESIGNS. Now." He said and hanged up before he could reply.
Five minutes later there was a knock at his door. The assistant's came to view. He came in trembling in fear as he place the documents on the table.
"Sir, this... This is all we about the MANORISA ." He said and placed the file on the table. Lorenzo took it and glanced through then a smirk played on his lips which made his assistant tremble in fear because he knew that smirk and what it can do in seconds. He took his phone and dialed a number.
"I've sent you a photo and a number, I want all the movements of the person to be reported to me every hour." He said and hanged up. He looked at his assistant with a dangerous look which made his soul leave his body.
"Get the car ready, we're visiting MANORISA." He said and smirked, then got up. He took his suit jacket and led the way with his assistant following suit.
Nikita was still thinking about how her body and behaviour has changed when it hits her hard that her period for that month has not come. Then she thought about the possibilities. Then she shook her head. 'No no, I can't be pre... No' she said subconsciously and got up. She took her bag and left the office. She met her assistant right after she left.
"Naz, I have a doctor's appointment. So just take care of everything in my absence." She said and left the place.
Right after she left Lorenzo came. All the works came to greet him.
"Where's your boss?" He asked after Nazi had intro herself as the assistant.
"Oh I'm sorry Mr. Basile, she had a doctor's appointment and because we didn't receive your message in time she left before it came." She said but Lorenzo only nodded.
"I'll wait for her." He said and took the lead. Nazi followed suit. All the works went back to their desk while Nazi led him to the conference room.
Nikita was in the doctor's office waiting for him to tell her what was wrong with her.
"Congratulations Ms Marcelo, you're two weeks pregnant." The doctor said smiling warmly at her but the horrified look on her face said something else. She laughed awkwardly took the test results and glanced through but it snowed she was really pregnant.
"What do you mean I'm two weeks pregnant? Are you sure you've not mixed up my report with someone else? Yeah I know I had sex with someone but it was only a nightstand. Just once and your telling me I'm pregnant?! Are you even a qualified doctor? Do you even a licence? Which medical school did you attend? And who gave you the audacity to tell me I'm pregnant. And why am are even waiting my time here?" She asked and stood up making the doctor flinch.
"Don't you dare tell anyone or you're dead." She warned and left the hospital raging
"I wanted to tell you the baby is doing fine! And getting angry is not good for you on the first trimeste." The doctor shouted after her but she was already gone banging the door with all her might.
She rushed out even bumping in someone and she venting on her anger on the person who bumped into her. Luckily the doctor was following her so he apologised in her stead.
She moment she sat in her car her phone rang.
"The person you've called is not in the mood to talk to anyone please call back later." She said and hanged up the call without even checking the id caller.
Lorenzo looked at the phone then smirked. "Did she just hanged up on me?" He said and the room became chilled instantly making his assistant and Nazi freeze in horror.
