Fourteen hours later, Nikita had reached Canada. The flight landed at Toronto Pearson International Airport at seven in the morning. After finishing with all the necessary stuff, she walked out of the airport and saw a man holding a cardboard with her man inscribed on it NIKITA MARCELO. She waved at the man and walked towards him.
"Ms Marcelo, I'm Mr Rump, your driver for today. Ms Santorini asked me to pick you up immediately you arrive." The man said with a warm smile plastering on his face. Nikita nodded and went to sit in the car with the man putting her luggages in the trunk. Her phone rung the moment the car was ignited to Life. She checked the id caller and it was Aurora. Dhe picked it up all smiley.
"Aurora, hey. Good morning." Nikita greeted.
"It's twelve noon here sis." Aurora said with her voice a bit hoarse.
"Did you just wake up? Aurora, you didn't right?" Nikita asked with her voice sounding so scary.
"No sis, I didn't. It's just that I was taking a nap." She said trying to convince Nikita while know too well she just woke up because it was on weekends.
"Oh okay. Is mum around." Nikita's asked because she has missed them already.
"No, they went to sissy Amanda's place. Don't ask me why cuz you don't know." Aurora said knowing too well her sister Will ask her why?
"Sis, a Man came here and he said his name was Lorenzo something like that, and he was saying crap about you being pregnant with his baby and her came to look for you. Maybe I think that's why Mom and dad went to sissy's place." Aurora said not knowing how much she has helped her sister about telling her the same man she's running from came to look for her himself?
"Aurora are you sure of what you're saying?" Nikita asked know her sister had placed her Palm on her forehead even though she could see her.
"I'm very sure. He was tall like this," Aurora said even though her sister couldn't see it. ", black hair, and he looked like a god." She said and chuckled. Making her sister know her little sis was crushing on her baby father.
"I'm not sure of the person you're describing but I'll ask Mom about it." Nikita said knowing too well she knew the person her sister is talking about.
But how did she get theirs home address?
"Aurora, can you not tell Mom about this number I've given you? Or she'll disturb me and I wouldn't be able to concentrate on the work I'm going." Nikita and and Aurora hummed before ending the call.
The journey from the airport to where Nikita was going to stay took an hour.
Upon reaching there she was mesmerized by the beauty of the place. A huge garden from the entrance to the front yard. A woman statue as a fountain with the come coming out as her hair.
Nikita stood there like a lost kitten when the huge door to the manor open with five women dressed in a house help's attire came out. Two who looked the same age as her, two in her early twenties ablnd an old woman older enough to be her mom.
"Good morning ma'am, I'm Grace the head of the maids and these four are Maya, Mimi, Mina and Nikki. They're my daughters." She said and the girls smiled beautifully at her. "And We'll be at your service." She said and Nikita nodded. The girl named Mina can for her luggage while Nikki took the other ones.
"Please just call me Nikita. Ma'am is too way out of my league.
They just nodded and took her to her room. The room Which was assigned to Nikita was more bigger for about three people. A king size bed and closet and a huge bathroom which can be used as another room if not it had been finishing already. She unpacked which her things Yoo only half of the closet. After she was done, she went to take her bath then rested on the bed made for three.
Amanda had just finished off talking when Ms Grace when the help assigned to her came to tell her the Marcelos are there to see her. She got up lazily from the beg and went to change. She came downstairs to meet the husband and wife looking all gloomy which made her a little confused.
"Uncle, auntie." She called and sat beside them. "What brings you here? And I didn't know you knew where it I live." Amanda said all smiley. But the look on their faces made her smile drop. "What's wrong? It's everything okay? Is someone dead?" She asked gaining a glare from them.
"Amanda, tell us the truth. Is Nikita really going for a business trip or she's running away from someone? Simply put is Nikita pregnant?" Mr Marcelo asked and Amanda froze with widened eyes. 'how did they know?' she asked subconsciously.
"What do you mean uncle? Hie can Nikita get pregnant?" She ask trying to buzz it off but her first reaction gave her away.
"Amanda, please tell us the truth. Please " Mrs Marcelo said clasping Amanda's hands in hers. The worried look on Mrs Marcelo's face made Amanda give in. She nodded which made Mrs Marcelo's heart drops.
"But why did she tell us? And you too? You kept this from us." Mrs Marcelo said looking disappointed. The same look Nikita didn't wanna see on her parents face.
"Auntie, you can't blame me, she told me not to tell you and I just obeyed." Amanda said and sighed "She just didn't was you to look disappointed in her and she couldn't bring herself to tell you that's why she fled." Amanda's said and sighed.
"So what he said was true?" Mr Marcelo asked no one in particular.
"Who?" Amanda asked
"Lorenzo Alessandro Basile. The CEO of LORENISO FASHION. He told us." Mr. Marcelo said making Amanda clench a fist.
"After ruining Nikita's life he got the guts to tell her parents?" Amanda asked no one in particular.
"What do you mean?" Mrs Marcelo asked.
"Didn't he tell you guys he's the father of the baby?" Amanda asked but the nodded in disagreement. "Oh wow. He ruined Nikita to you guy slipping out her secret while he didn't say he was the cost of her running away." Amanda said and chuckled.
