I was laughing with Soren when someone suddenly stopped me.
"Where are you going?"
I looked up.
Kasteil.
He was standing in front of me, looking down with a small smile. The restaurant lights caught in his red eyes, softening them into something almost gentle.
"To sit beside Soren," I answered, as though it were the most obvious thing in the world.
His eyebrows lifted slightly.
I didn't understand why he was looking at me like that.
We had continued playing golf until it got dark. Honestly, I hadn't expected to enjoy it as much as I did. Earlier today, I had been convinced that I would never touch a golf club again after watching Jamie and Soren nearly destroy the golf course. But apparently, when you're surrounded by friends, you end up doing things you never thought you would.
Even things you're terrible at.
