A little while later…
After defeating King Piccolo the saiyan searched for another way to gain power. He flew off to Korin's tower where the cat informed him of the ultra divine water. Something Kaine knew would make him much stronger. He had to go through a maze to get it just to keel over and die for like a minute or two but it ultimately did the Saiyan good. He felt his power increase a bit and he felt calmer, resolute. Nothing could stop me from becoming the strongest in the multiverse. Kaine thought.
I have nothing more to teach you Kaine, if you still seek greater power, you will have to go to the place above. Korin said. The perceptive warrior instantly knew what he was talking about. Kami's lookout. Fuck yeah. He thought.
Korin gave Kaine a bell and he put the power pole at the top of the tower and rode it up to the lookout. After elevating himself he climbed to the top. Damn this shit looks glorious. The building looks so pristine. This place looks much bigger than in the show. He thought.
Kaine walked forward and saw a genie looking humanoid with matte black skin sitting on a carpet. Damn Popo black as shit. Kaine thought, trying not to laugh. I'm gonna respect him though, cause I don't want smoke with Big Popo. Not until I become the biggest dog. He thought.
The Saiyan walked over and noticed a bunch of birds chilling on the black Genie's shoulders while he was feeding them. It was very peaceful to look at after nuking some green guy. The Saiyan thought. Hi there, how ya doing? Kaine said waving. Hi. He replied back in a slightly high pitched voice raising his hand. Hey I'm looking for the guardian of Earth Kami. Kaine said.
Yes, I know Kami, but I am Mr. Popo. He told me all about you. You beat piccolo with ease didn't you? Popo asked. How'd ya know? Kaine asked. Kami knows about everything. He replied. Shit, he's probably watched me fuck women too. Kaine thought, blushing. I sure hope not. You think I could meet him right now? The warrior asked the Genie. I need proof that Korin sent you. Mr. Popo said. This thing, right?Kaine asked, pulling out a bell. Very good. Popo said.
Are you ready for the test? TEST? Kaine asked. Ah hell naw bruh. You must fight me, Mr. Popo, in order to meet Kami. Alright Popo. Show me what you got, He said, getting into a fighting stance. The Saiyan lunged towards Popo and he matched each of his punches blow for blow. Popo's Ki Level but Kaine was just as skillful.
This warrior's battle prowess, how extraordinary. It would seem that standard teachings will have to go out the window. Popo Thought. If you can manage to control that power the right way you would be able to defeat me. Mr. Popo Said. What Popo teaches Goku here in the original is the founding principles for ultra instinct. I must understand his words. Kaine thought.
The Black Genie taught the Saiyan Fighter how to be more tranquil than the sky but quicker than lightning. to learn how to see with more than just his eyes. Popo tasked Kaine with acting and fighting without making noise from the bell attached to belt. I'll do whatever it takes to defend my home. Even if I have to defeat 100 of you! Kaine said with conviction, staring at Popo.
That is good to hear, I will be meeting you now. A voice spoke out from inside the building. That's Kami. Oh awesome! Thanks Mr. Kami! Kaine yelled excitedly. You look just like. Piccolo? The Saiyan said in an intentionally confused voice.
Me and Piccolo were once one. A coin with two opposing sides. There was a guardian before me. I sensed his end and believed I could be his successor. He sensed within me my impure and proud side that yearned for power and control. Kami stated. I trained until I was able to separate the impure half from my body. My evil half went down to reek madness and havoc. The half you put a stop to. He further elaborated. I sense that same desire in you Kaine. Kami said, looking at Kaine with concern of the young Man's power and motives.
Strength is nothing without control. Kaine said, looking at Kami. You speak the truth, He added. But I have no means of wreaking havoc like your other half did. I am not from this world, Kami. I've seen a galactic emperor with even the weakest of his soldiers being able to destroy planets with ease. I was almost one of them, but I have chosen a far more fulfilling destiny. I want to become strong enough to put villains with power like that out of their jobs. One day I wanna become so strong even consequences will be a lower dimensional concept to me. Kaine said, truthfully.
No one is above consequences. He said back. Do you know of your origin Kami? Kaine asked. The Elder Guardian was caught off Guard by the question. No. I do not. The green man stared at the ground. I'm gonna figure out how this whole creation shit works. Kaine said. If I hurt good people as a result than I will turn back. Kaine said.
Kami stared at the Saiyan for a long period in silence. If what you say is true. Perhaps I can trust you young warrior. In spite of your terrifying power and strange intentions. Kami said. But if you wish for a strong Warrior to fight then beware of Piccolo's reincarnation. He said. You mean he reincarnated after I killed him? Kaine asked. Yes, the infant creature will likely train to surpass his father and you. Kami said. It is likley he will show his face at the next world tournament, you must train up here for the next 3 years to beat him. He added. I understand. Kami. The Saiyan said, determined.
And thus the Warrior began his training in the land right below the stars. Kami's Lookout. He began by focusing on mental energy through meditation. The world became aware of the threat of King Piccolo and his subsequent defeat by their World Champion's hands. He relaxed his mind to dodge on instinct. Knowing all of earth's techniques made it much easier. How the Saiyan saw it was that there was an in-depth explanation in his head for every teaching Mr. Popo taught him. He saw memories from Kami on his training to Guardian hood.
In the Saiyan's first training mission he was tasked to find a crown by Mr. Popo. The crown stuck to his head and it created a thunderstorm in which the lightning tracked its way towards him. The warrior trained for a day to dodge the lightning aiming directly for him.
After that mission was completed, Popo then transported him to the past where he met Mutaito. Master Roshi and Master Shen's master, the one who would sacrifice his life to seal Piccolo. Kaine was taught how to channel spiritual energy and replicated it with ease.
While the Saiyan was there he saw Ranfan or General Violet's ancestor. Fanfan. Perhaps the 3 were related. Kaine thought. Fanfan looked just as sexy as the other two but the Warrior was on a mission and had no time for a copy of what he already had. This shit wasn't pokemon. He added mentally.
Popo made the Saiyan fight a doll version of himself that was animated like a living being but wasn't. It was hard to sense the doll's next move. Kaine tried giving the doll a different type of energy, a trail he couldn't follow. The fighter cleared his mind, let go so he could concentrate. The doll eventually ran out of battery.
After that they did hide and seek. I'm not gonna lie. Getting chased by a 4 '1 projectile built nigga gotta be the scariest shit I've ever done and unfortunately, he caught me. Kaine spoke. Hi. Popo said. AUGHHHH!!!! The Saiyan screamed.
It was now his turn to seek and he focused to sense the Genie's spiritual energy. Kaine went on to hone his already martial arts skill in anyway he could. He even went into the hyperbolic time chamber and was able to hold his own for almost year but the chamber drove him insane.
Kami had entered his training with Kaine Early under the pretense that he was "overprepared" and that no gain in power was necessary. Kaine was buying that. He had heard what ifs about Kami's fear of Goku's power but this seemed far too real. He ended his time in that chamber Early so that the God would not contemplate locking him in there.
He had also learned how to keep the Guardian out of his business with his own magic. The magic made it to where the God could only see him training, eating or sleeping. Unknown to him, the Saiyan knew when he was watching. Kaine flew back to his castle. Vomi. I want you to inject me with the DNA of King Piccolo. He ordered. Yes Lord Kaine, what parts of your DNA would you like to be altered? She asked. I want all his abilities besides his reproduction and his appearance. Kaine said.
The intelligent Android woman got to work. The Saiyan was put to sleep in a pod with a high dosage of a powerful anesthetic made specifically for Saiyan's. She began augmenting the Saiyan with the Demon Kings genetic abilities. The process was about 12 hours but it was successful. How do you feel my lord? 21 asked him as he moved out of the pod. I feel different. Kaine said. He outstretched his arm and willed it to go towards the table, his arm suddenly stretched towards the table and he retracted his arm, pulling an object along with him. He flexed his arm and realized how much more volume his muscles had.
The Saiyan continued his training for the remaining year before the world Tournament, honing his new abilities and exploiting his new hybrid potential.

Piccolo, growing and reaching the size of a human Adult trained harder than ever to surpass Kaine so he would never again fear a power existing that was greater than his own. And he would have free reign to take over the world.
