3 years had passed. Chi Chi had given birth to a big and healthy baby. He was about 15 pounds. Her Husband decided to name him Gohan, after his late grandfather whom she had met at the furnace. After the child was born Chi Chi and Kaine began training again and Gohan learned quickly.
The system ability made him function like an extension of Kaine's will. He knew everything his father knew. He wasn't absent of emotion but just like his mother he was at his happiest when things were in his father's best interests. The child's power was very exceptional. He was 3 and was already sparring with his mother. Gohan was as strong as Grandpa Gohan before he died. The Saiyan trained with his wife and she had surpassed Piccolo 3 years ago. The saiyan guessed she was probably around Raditz's strength. Kaine got a little stronger as well, making use of Dr Brief's Gravity chamber from time to time. It wasn't anything crazy but It was better than the increase goku had in the main story.
If I remember correctly the dead zone movie should take place around this time. Kaine thought. He told Chi Chi and Gohan to lower their power and informed them of his plans. They obliged and all went as it did In canon. Kaine went hunting and sensed his father in law who was visiting get knocked unconscious. SHIT! I forgot about Ox. Kaine remembered. Chi Chi pretended to be defeated and they took Gohan. Oh shit is you're dad okay Chi Chi. The Saiyan said, helping his wife off of her feet. Yeah he'll be fine. I can take care of him. You go get our son back, Hero. Chi Chi teased her Husband. The Saiyan took the dragon radar and blasted off toward the south. He gave the boy a hat with the four star dragon ball attached to it. He made it just in time to see Garlic Junior become Immortal.
HOORAY! FOR GARLIC JUNIOR! His goons exclaimed. MY SON! Kaine yelled. You must be Kaine! One of the goons said. You must be the bastards that stole my son. The warrior responded. Kami showed up. Oh hey Kami. Kaine said. You take care of his Goons and go find your son. I'll handle Garlic. Kami said seriously. On it. Kaine said. Kami began his fight with Garlic Junior and the saiyan went to find his son.
Garlic's goon beefed themselves up and tried to stand up to the warrior. The first one tried to punch the Saiyan but he blocked it and punched him in the gut before throwing him into a building. The next one was stopped in his assault by the warrior's power pole suddenly hitting him in his forehead. They regrouped and tried a group combo technique that he dodged and countered easily. Piccolo showed up. I don't need your help Piccolo. You should be more focused on keeping your pure counterpart from getting slimed by Garlic. Kaine said. Kami's out there? He asked, shocked. Yes. He's fighting some shrimp named Garlic Junior. Kaine responded. Piccolo went to help Kami and the warrior easily dispatched the other 3 goons with ease.
One goon charged first and was quickly gut checked by Kaine before being uppercutted and swung by his leg into a nearby wall. The two others charged in with weapons and the Saiyan quickly de-armed one and slammed the pole across his jaw before aiming it at his stomach. POWER POLE EXTEND! He yelled, slamming the being into the same pillar the other one was lying below. The other one tried to attack him while he was down an arm. The Saiyan caught his blade between two of his fingers and pulled the goon towards him before jabbing him with devastating force, sending him skidding back and stunned. The saiyan chucked the man's blade at him at a speed he couldn't react to. AUGH! The goon screamed, being impaled by his own blade. The saiyan leaped towards the stunned man and captured his head with his legs in a crocodile biting movment before throwing him towards the other fallen Goons. KAMEHAMEHAAA!! Kaine yelled shooting the blue beam at the downed foes. He went over to help Piccolo sensing Garlic's power increasing.
Piccolo was lowkey getting bulldozed by the now transformed Garlic. The Saiyan stepped in doing a little more against the blue giant. It was hard because of the gap in strength. Good thing I know how to even the gap. The Saiyan thought. He took off his weighted shirt and boots. Piccolo did the same. The two began working side by side and the gap was much larger than in the movie. The powerful warrior outsped and outmucled the turquoise giant. HAAAAA!!! The two finished with a combo move, atomizing the immortal in seconds.
Piccolo then turned to Kaine seriously. We still have some unfinished business KAINE! Piccolo said, turning to the warrior and getting into a fighting stance. They both charged at each other and began fighting. Piccolo even without weights could not keep up with the man's full power. He was only around Chi Chi's strength after all their training but was nothing in comparison to the saiyan's full power that eclipsed even Garlic Jr's. Piccolo was getting beaten worse than he was at the World Tournament. DAMMIT! EVERYTIME I TRAIN HE GETS EVEN STRONGER! Piccolo thought in anguish.
DAMMIT I WILL KILL YOU ALL! Garlic Jr. Yelled. The Makyo Star inhabitant opened a portal to suck the two into the dead zone. The Saiyan got tired of the bullshit and powered up even further. His hair spiked and his eyes turned yellow. He entered the Ikari state with his power increasing tenfold. Garlic tried to pull them into the deadzone but the Warrior resisted the space times gravitational pull. RAHHHHHHH! Kaine yelled, letting his power explode and sending Junior into the dead zone. DAMN YOU KAINE! Garlic Junior yelled. The portal closed after that. Phew. Kaine said audibly. He turned around to see his little boy walk up to him. Father you did it! Gohan said happily. Hey Gohan, did those guys hurt you? The Saiyan asked seriously. No. The little boy smiled.
Dammit. He has a son too now. He could grow up to be just as much of a pain as his father. Piccolo said to himself. You fear his power too huh Piccolo. Kami said to his other half. Shut up Kami. Piccolo said, picking himself up. Listen Piccolo, I know your goals aren't noble either, but I know my malevolence way better than this man's. Kami said. What are you Saying old man? Piccolo asked impatiently. The day we reunite is the day you will stop Kaine's ambitions. Kami said mysteriously before walking away.
Kaine turned around and saw Piccolo staring at him and stared back. The green man faltered in his Gaze and the Saiyan had a big smile on his face. The former demon king picked himself and walked off in shame. After that little excursion Gohan and his father went back to fire mountain to eat dinner that the woman of the house cooked for them.
