Chapter 44 - Another Day of Upgrades

Today was spent like many others grinding out experience, pretty much everything got it's second upgrade by the end of the day, except for the VR set devices.

I think I over did it the day before, because I was loath to try and play that for 14 or 15 hours to get the second upgrade.

But everything else did.

The computers, monitors, cables, satellites, solar panels, AR glasses, drone, keyboard, mouse, and the external storage drives got their second upgrades.

The computers did indeed become supercomputers, in fact they were even better than my other computer. The computers were fully fledged supercomputers.

The monitors, cables, satellites, and solar panels were just like the others when upgraded. There was nothing out of the ordinary.

The AR glasses got even better. Better resolution, frames per second, tracking, and faster self computing.

The drone was now quite something, it had a 32 mile range and the camera had high definition zoom picture and recording features.

With the drone, the batteries also got upgraded. The 40 minute change now lasted 80 minutes or an hour and 20 minutes.

The keyboards didn't seem to have a noticeable upgrade. Maybe it got more durable?

The mice had better tracking and were more sensitive.

Finally the 34 external storage devices went from 280 TB to 2,800 TB or 2.8 PB per device. Which totals a massive 95,200 TB or 95.2 PB. Now we're cooking.

Now I have plenty of room for the simulated data.

With that the day came to a close.

The next morning at 9 AM I had finished my morning routine and was sitting at my desk ready to set up the new stocks to trade.

I initially had 4 stocks trading on my original computer. Now I decided to have 1 stock for every storage device, so that is an additional 34 stocks I will be trading in from today on.

With a total of 38 stocks and $45,952.01. That is $1,209.26 per stock.

The main point in doing this is to try and milk as much money as I can out of the volatile market while I can. It is not an infinite pool of money that I can withdraw from. If there are say 100 stocks that are volatile and there are 1000s of people trading with at least $10,000 for each stock.

That is at least $10,000,000 per stock and that is on a conservative end since some people are trading in the millions by themselves. But for math's sake we will be conservative.

At 10 million for 100 stocks is $1,000,000,000 or $1 billion dollars. That's how much is getting traded everyday solely in the volatile market.

However, how much do you think they would be ok with losing? Because it would be foolish to think that people wouldn't get scared when a new player starts taking all of their money. How much do you think people would lose before they pulled out completely?

My bet is around 10%. $100,000,000 cumulatively or $1,000,000 per stock.

But, I have to do it slowly and steadily to make more. Otherwise people will notice and pull out early.

Nathan already knew about my movements and he will report about it today. Though I'm willing to bet that they will take a wait and see policy, to decide on what to do.

By using more stocks I can lower the amount earned per stock which will ease their immediate worries, but strengthen their long term concerns.

Because they will notice the slowed movement and think that it is a consortium testing their stock trading AI, so they are not doing it for the money, but the data.

Which will add to their long term concerns of finding out which consortium is behind it and how to manage what may come of it.

Hopefully for me that will keep them preoccupied for the time being so I can really milk them for all they are worth before most people really notice how much they have lost.

Then I will have to use the money made from that to start a business that will further make money, like the car flipping business, which is really just going to be a front for the patents on car upgrades.

Which reminds me I should email an attorney about starting the business creation process as that will take some time to complete.

I need to think of a name for the company and have it be a subsidiary of my Hong Kong company.

My Parent company name is Hortus Conclusus and I would like the subsidiaries to follow the naming trend.

So perhaps Daffodil automotive, or Narcissus Automotive. Ooh, I like the second one.

Daffodils symbolize regard, chivalry, and rebirth.

For cars that are regarded as a new metal stead, and its noble rebirth, at Narcissus Automotive.

Yeah, I like that.

While I thought about that, the time was creeping closer to the opening of the market.

When the time hit 9:30 I hit the start button and with that I could move on to another part of my day, playing VR games.

I'm going to try and play the full day to get the second upgrade but, I doubt my mind will be able to take that.

So I set a timer to let me know when I should take breaks, eat, and drink plenty of water.

I did it. I played ALL DAY. My head is buzzing, but it's really not that bad. I found a saving grace. There was a house flipping game and that really took my time away. But, I managed to sell a few houses in the game. Not that that really gives me anything.

I upgraded the VR headset and controllers.

The headset got smoother graphics, better frame rates, and the field of view got much better. The immersion offered got significantly better.

The controllers got better tracking and haptics just like last time.
