the next day he brought a bag full of brushes and colors, "how about we fix this little room of yours?" her eyes widened but she grew so much closer to him that she trusted him completely, taking the brush as they spent hours drawing colorful patterns on the dark walls and floor of her once pitch black room, the shadows retreating their once enormous limps became nothing but insect-like shapes as he took her hand and together they danced joyfully stomping on all of them until the voices were gone she rested peacefully in his arms tears of joy running down her face as he cupped her face in his hands their eyes locked together "thank you...for saving me" he pressed a gentle kiss on her temple his fingers tangled through her soft hair "I was once like you too...but now you are safe, the shadows will never reach you again~"
