It was on Saturday morning, Mandy and Sofy were in Sofy's room doing their project when Mandy came up with a topic
"Have you heard from Louis since after test week" Mandy asked as Sofy's mood darkened all of a sudden "Is something wrong" Mandy asked
"Remember when you said Louis is in love with me ?" Sofy said as Mandy nodded "I think he's really in love with me, he was acting weird the last time we saw, and he kissed me" Sofy added
"oh my gosh, how!!!!!" Mandy asked with her mouth wide open in shock
"So I was in the washroom with some girls, when I heard footsteps and panting noise, so I decided to check then I saw Louis..." Sofy narrated
"what that fvck, what was he thinking" Mandy asked
"exactly my point" Sofy sighed heavily
"so what are you gonna do" Mandy asked
"I'll leave him, when he's ready to apologize he'll come" Sofy replied gently
"okay then, let's focus on our project, this project gives us half of our exam scores so we should do it as best as we can" Mandy said
"yeah true" Sofy replied calmly
"C'mon girl, cheer up" Mandy said as she poked Sofy's cheek which brought a little smile out of her.
Hours later,
Mandy had returned home so Sofy went to meet Max at home. They were in the balcony, Sofy was very close to him, they paired themselves in one chair, Max holding her waist so tight to himself as they were talking
"Melvin told me about Mirabel, he said she's the big sister to both of you" Sofy said
"Yeah, you can hardly tell we're not from same family"Max replied with a quick smile on his cheeks
"Ohhh, I wish I had a friend that was so close to me" Sofy mouthed gently
"don't you have close friends" Max asked
"Nah, I changed schools a lot cuz no one wanted to be my friend" Sofy said slowly
"but why?"Max asked
"Cuz of my complexion, like as if it's my fault I have a rare complexion" Sofy replied
"No one's gonna criticize you for being brown skin here, we love you just the way you are, and we genuinely envy your complexion" Max asked
"are you just saying this to make me feel better" Sofy muttered gently
"No babe, I want you to know that some people out there admires your complexion, and I'm one of them" Max replied
"aww thanks babe" Sofy said as she turned and hugged Max, they hugged for sometime before entering a deep long kiss.
