Chapter 1 - Sacrifice

'薄' (Haku) – White –'絶' (Zetsu) – Annihilation. '姫' (Hime) – Princess, 'The Princess of White Annihilation' is what others in Hueco Mundo are calling that calamity: Tier Harribel, an individual who inhabits an invariable snowstorm where nothing can pierce its veil nor escape its influence. Neither memories nor emotions. Hence 'White Annihilation,' it— I erase whatever nears into pure white vistas by virtue of vast spiritual pressures, vaporizing them into the very sand dunes I stand on – blanketing Hueco Mundo's surface for as far as my eyes can see, and I can see everything.

Including the distant presence lurking by my side. "Nelliel. What is it? I know it's you... When such great spiritual pressure disappears all of a sudden, one can't help but be on edge about it."

I turn to face my acquaintance hovering above, Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck – a fair woman who wears a ram's broken skull as a headpiece, face marked by a crimson strip of paint across its nose. Swoosh, wind currents mysteriously manifest, setting Nelliel's mint green sheets of hair aloft into the form of a spectre who possesses scalps. It's enough a distraction for the attire she's in to pass unnoticed, a gown torn into two pieces – a skirt plus crop top, held together by a thread across her bare torso. Glorified rags at best yet there's dignity and an unspoken pride in the tired features against my gaze.

"...Is it a fight you want?" I break the silence.

"Hardly. I came because I smell death in the air," Descending as she speaks. "It's unusual for an Arrancar to exude immense spiritual pressure for days on end. I only wonder what're you're up to. Why it is that you're adding yet more ashes to this land of remains." Then landing within a breath's distance of myself such I can smell the same fragrance – traces of it at least – she's been speaking of.

"This is my final act of mercy to those Hollows damned to a sentence in Hueco Mundo, it's best if they don't live to see the struggle. Wouldn't you agree—" I'm not let to finish.

"Dondochakka and Pesche are dead, even Bawabawa. It was me." Bloody palms ascend in from the bottom of my field of view. I don't know why she came, maybe she came solely to confess. Though she doesn't look as if she needs to. Not one flicker of remorse is in those droopy hazel eyes.

"Y-Your Fracciónes?" Nonetheless, I'm stunned hearing this from someone who used to be La Espada' moral compass.

"Hollows live for nothing if not for one another. It's like you say, for their own good. I knew they wouldn't see reason in the rational end that is death…" The way she suddenly trails off is unnerving. "What I'm saying is… I want us to be the end of La Espada and everything. That seems to be the purpose of your ceaseless death march: to kill everything in this godforsaken place then die without a trace."

"Cero Oscuras."  I utter into the void... Energy flickers into existence above my fingertip – a sphere – lusting for release, I don't hesitate to direct it at Nelliel who faces it freely. "I don't suppose you'd like to make a deal, Nel."

"I thought you'd never ask," Nelliel points her index at me. "Gran Rey Cero..."

Boom.

Without any words, Nel and I blast one another off this realm.
