Bella Acker knew that the old man actually cared a lot about Damian.
It was only to back her up and help her get justice that he treated him this way.
And standing between the two of them, as the cause of the matter, she couldn't really stay out of it and watch the grandfather and grandson keep on arguing.
Especially since her heart...
"Old man..."
Bella Acker wanted to plead again, but the old man raised his hand, "Young Acker, I allowed this brat in because I saw you standing in the cold with him, but that's as far as I can back down. It's late, so after you drink the ginger soup, you should rest early. I'm going to bed too."
"Goodnight, old man." Bella Acker watched as the butler wheeled the old man away, then turned back to Damian, "Don't you have a room here?"
"I do," Damian replied, "Upstairs."
"Young Master Sterling, Ms. Acker, please have some ginger soup to fend off the chill, so you won't catch a cold tomorrow." A servant brought over two bowls of ginger soup.
