Creston, Coriah Hospital.
Bella Acker lay on the operating table, her face somewhat pale.
The doctor asked one final question, "Miss, are you sure you want to remove the child in your womb?"
Bella suddenly clenched her hands, her knuckles turning white, her teeth biting fiercely into her lower lip. She struggled internally for a long time before finally speaking, "Yes. Please, doctor."
The doctor sighed silently. Looking at her appearance, it was clear she wanted to keep the child, but for some reason, she had to let it go.
Feeling more sympathetic towards Bella, the doctor's voice softened, "Now we'll inject the anesthesia, the anesthesia we're using is..."
The words were interrupted as the door to the operating room was kicked open with a bang.
Bella was startled, immediately sitting up from the operating table, looking fearfully at the man approaching with a gloomy face.
The man wore a well-tailored handmade shirt and trousers, with a black long coat that made his already tall figure even more imposing.
His presence was like ice, his eyes deep like an abyss. As he strode forward, he suppressed his barely contained fury, coldly staring at the woman sitting on the operating table.
Seeing her helpless and innocent yet panicked expression, the monstrous rage in his chest did not dissipate but instead grew fiercer.
"Damian, you... you weren't supposed to be abroad?" Bella looked at the approaching man, instinctively wanting to jump off the table and run.
"Bella, how dare you!"
Damian Sinclair saw her wanting to flee, and his anger burned even hotter. He took two big steps and grabbed Bella's wrist.
His grip was so strong that a circle of red appeared on her fair wrist, causing Bella to wince in pain, looking pitifully at him, "Dam... Damian, you're... you're hurting me."
"A heartless woman like you actually feels pain?" Damian tightly squeezed her wrist, furious and wishing he could crush it, "You found out I was going abroad just to secretly kill my son? Bella, I'm telling you! It's murder! It's a crime!"
"I... I didn't." Bella instinctively wanted to defend herself.
"You didn't?" Damian coldly stared at the petite woman in front of him, "Is it that you never thought of leaving me, or you never thought of killing my son?!"
Bella was speechless, her small face pale either from sadness or fear, drained of color.
The doctor and nurse beside them finally came to their senses and immediately stepped forward to intervene.
The doctor said, "Sir, this is a hospital, please don't be so angry..."
"Get out!" Damian coldly turned his head to look at the doctor next to him.
Facing his icy expression and eyes, the doctor involuntarily shivered, unable to say another word.
Two bodyguards immediately stepped forward, isolating all the doctors and nurses, directly taking them out of the operating room, leaving and closing the door behind them. They shut out the people who had rushed over upon hearing the commotion.
Damian stared at the pale woman with a cold smile, "What? Are you afraid now? Bella Acker, I never thought you were this kind of woman!"
Bella bit her lower lip tightly, her entire body trembling slightly, before finally whispering, "You're... you're already getting engaged, I..."
