Damian Sinclair didn't answer, but his attitude was neutral.
Bella Acker didn't know what to say to him anymore, so she simply lay on him pretending to be dead.
Damian Sinclair gently massaged her waist, his fingers softly caressing her flat belly. Inside was growing a small life that shared his bloodline; it was truly a miraculous thing.
After a while, Damian Sinclair spoke, "How do you plan to handle Cecilia Lynch's matter?"
Bella Acker looked up in surprise, "I can handle it myself?"
"Yes." Damian Sinclair said, "If you don't take care of her yourself, it'll only brew resentment inside, which isn't good for the baby."
"Oh Damian, I love you to death!" Bella Acker joyfully hugged Damian Sinclair's neck and planted a strong kiss on his cheek, then flipped out of bed.
Damian Sinclair grabbed her wrist, "What are you doing?"
"Going to settle the score with Cecilia." Bella Acker blinked her pretty eyes, saying, "Besides, I have an audition this afternoon. If I don't go now, I'll be late."
"Audition?" Damian Sinclair sat up as well, the thin blanket slipping from his body revealing his muscular and strong upper body.
"Yeah. It's for a production called 'Brocade River and Mountain,' adapted from a novel I read before. There's a supporting female role in it that I super love." Bella Acker withdrew her wrist, wrapped herself in a casual outfit, and spoke as she walked towards the bathroom.
Watching the little woman walk into the bathroom, Damian Sinclair was silent for a moment before lifting the thin blanket to get out of bed, following her into the bathroom bare.
Bella Acker was testing the water temperature when arms suddenly wrapped around her from behind, startling her. She turned back, saying, "You came in so quietly, scared me to death."
Damian Sinclair held her, asking, "Do you like acting?"
"Hmm, quite like it." Bella Acker thought for a moment and nodded, "I hadn't even graduated from high school before I was with you. Besides figuring out how to act by watching TV, there isn't much else I can do."
Damian Sinclair was silent for a while then gently pecked behind her ear, "Do you want to go to college? I can arrange the admission for you."
"Can I?" Bella Acker turned her head with surprise to look at the man behind her, eyes twinkling brightly.
"Hmm." Damian Sinclair nodded, a faint smile in his deep eyes, "But you'll have to wait until after the baby is born."
"Yeah, I know." Bella Acker happily turned to hug Damian Sinclair's neck, planting a firm kiss on his lips, her beautiful eyes curved into crescent moons with joy, "Hubby, love you, mwah!"
Seeing her so happy, the coldness on Damian Sinclair's face unknowingly faded, replaced by a slight indulgent affection. But in the next second, that indulgent look froze.
After kissing him, Bella Acker started to push him out, "You hurry and get out, don't block me here. I'm running out of time."
This mischievous little woman clearly made a huge mistake today. His anger hasn't fully dissipated yet, but she's acting as if nothing happened and doesn't even bother to soothe him, instead complaining that he's in her way.

While thinking this, Damian Sinclair already reached out, grabbed her wrist, and turned her against the glass wall of the bathroom, leaning in for a kiss.
