Mr. Thorne was the only one who truly enjoyed that meal. The Sinclair family didn't stay long after dinner. Shea Thorne saw them out before returning to clean up. After putting everything in order, Shea brewed some hangover tea for her father. She knocked on his bedroom door and brought it in to him. Only then did she return to her own room to wash up and get ready for bed. Washing off the stench of alcohol, she stepped out of the bathroom and collapsed onto the bed.
Shea thought back to Milo Sinclair's expression that evening. She picked up her phone. There were no messages from Milo, but Silas Sinclair had sent her quite a few on WeChat.
Silas Sinclair: "Shea, I apologize for my out-of-line behavior today. I really don't have any inappropriate feelings for you!
"My brother wants to disown me, and it seems like my parents don't want me anymore either!
"I'm sorry, but I won't be able to carry you in games anymore. Bestie, we shall never meet again."
