Lilian's POV
Antonio's face drained of color as I stepped toward him. "What are you doing, Lilian?"
I let a cold smile play across my lips. "You're the one who suggested I choose someone to kiss."
Excited whispers rippled through the crowd as everyone pressed closer to watch.
"After Mr. Atlas ignored her completely, she's going after Mr. Asher instead."
"Look how nervous Mr. Asher seems about this whole thing."
"It's actually amusing. She must be truly intimidating if she can make even Mr. Asher, who's known for his way with women, look genuinely scared to kiss her."
I moved closer to Antonio, maintaining my composed smile. His obvious discomfort only reinforced my suspicion that he wouldn't actually go through with it.
Antonio thrived on creating chaos, and I was certain he was simply using me to provoke Augusto.
If he wanted to play these kinds of games, I'd make sure this particular strategy backfired on him.
