The silver ring, transformed into a small snake, only initiated the Phase Shift after seeing its master's new body appear. In the next instant, the flame quickly dissipated.
On a platform filled with Herta puppets and exuding a European style, 'Ruan Mei,' holding a mechanical arm, met the gaze of the waiting puppet.
The silver snake, floating in mid-air, skillfully re-wrapped itself around 'Ruan Mei's left middle finger and settled down.
'Ruan Mei' stored the detached mechanical arm in the ring. The Herta puppet bowed slightly: "Miss Baiming, please follow me. Madam Herta is waiting for you inside."
"Mhm, lead the way." 'Ruan Mei' nodded, following the puppet toward the large tower.
At the same time, relying on the genius's super-intelligence, 'Ruan Mei' quickly began to consider the feasibility of her plan. She soon came up with a concrete, workable solution.
But, just as she had initially anticipated, she couldn't do it alone in time, and it would be difficult to achieve the best possible result.
If it were just simply creating a species of Giants of Light, 'Ruan Mei' could certainly do it. It was perfectly aligned with her specialty. But if she wanted to achieve a propagation ability similar to memetic contagion, she would need to collaborate on development. That was not her strong suit.
'Ruan Mei' followed the Herta puppet and stepped onto a rug on the floor. Quickly, the rug took off smoothly, flying toward the destination with great agility. 'Ruan Mei,' standing on the flying rug, felt no shaking or instability whatsoever. It was as if she were standing on solid ground.
'Ruan Mei' glanced down at the flying rug. The technology alone would shock countless people outside.
The rug moved quickly. 'Ruan Mei' found Madam Herta enjoying a meal in a dining area. But upon seeing 'Ruan Mei,' Herta immediately got down to business.
"You're here. Let's start, then." She put down her cutlery, handing all cleaning duties over to the Herta puppets. She then led 'Ruan Mei' toward another room.
"I assume you've already prepared a preliminary plan. Let's discuss it, then. Let's see what insights this genius who came before me has." Madam Herta's eyes were full of curiosity for 'Ruan Mei's wisdom.
Even if the person before her wasn't the original, it wasn't a big issue. As long as the intelligence was comparable to the real person, she, Herta, wasn't too picky. Especially since the other person specialized in life sciences. She really wanted to know how 'Ruan Mei' would approach this matter.

She raised her head with interest, watching 'Ruan Mei,' and said with a half-smile: "Heh~ Honestly, I find those words coming from you rather comical." You have used the power of so many Paths—do you have even a tiny bit of faith in any of them? And yet you talk about the will of the people.
