The players around me were frozen from the fear. They were afraid of the thought that I might kill them next.
But I had no such intentions to do it. They were not hostile towards me and so I had no reason to be hostile towards them.
The evening sun was slowly dying. The night was on it's way to us.
I didn't realise that this much time had passed. I was so busy in the battle. But now it was time for me to return to those who were awaiting my arrival—back to Elwyn and his family.
The mud was sticking to my shoes. My outfits were in mud too.
I turned to Ice and she was standing in her place looking at me with surprised expressions.
She didn't know how I healed so fast. She didn't know where all my fatigue was gone. She was still startled by the actions of my Dila. She was afraid of Dila now.
I walked to her and said, "Don't worry about it. It was one of Dila's ability. They have a kind of magic power through which they heal their loved ones and that's what it did to me. "
She finally calmed down a little after hearing my words. She exhaled a heavy breath and replied, "Oh, I see. "
Then she walked to Dila and patted it's neck and said to it in a lovely voice,"I am so sorry for screaming at you like that. And thank you for saving us. "
The Dila flustered and cried in a flustered way.
The rest of the remaining players came walking towards me.
I thought that they were going to attack me too.
But the only thing they wanted to do was to thank me for my actions.
They all bowed infront of me and thanked me.
The feeling after doing a good deed, it is amazing. I felt so good, I felt so amazing, I felt like I was in heaven being praised by angels.
I flustered and rub my head from my right hand and replied, " Don't worry about it. It's not a big deal. "
Ice walked to me and hit me with her elbow in a fun way and said, "Oh my, someone is famous now. "
I looked at her with my flustered face and replied to her, "Shut up. "
The players started going on their own way. All of them were tired, hurt, but they were happy as their first quest was done. But they also learned their lesson that the quests in this game are harder than all.
I turned to Ice and asked her, "Well, what are you gonna do now? "
It was a very sensible question. Because we met during our first quest and we just formed a temporary alliance to complete it.
We didn't know each other, we just met randomly as a stranger with the same goal.
She thought for few seconds and then leaned a bit towards me, both her hands behind her back and replied, "Well, now I am gonna log off the game and take a nice shower. Then I'll do dinner and go to sleep. "
'Oh, yeah. I am the only one who is stuck in this game, not her. So of course she would want to take a break now. '
And then she approached me with a question, "Well, aren't you gonna log off? "
Well, to that of course I need to make something up and so I hesitated a bit before replying but after her expressions became complicated, I replied, "Well, I am gonna play a bit more and then log off. "
She exhaled again and replied, "Why all boys are game nerd. Well, whatever, take care. "
I smiled back. Well, that was it for us, that's what I thought at that moment.
I mean, is there any way for a cute, beautiful and hot girl like her to consider me as her friend after such a short time? Of course not. They would love to be friends with a more hotter, handsome guy than an average guy like me.
But to my surpise while she was operating her screen, ready to log off she turned to me.
I was startled by her expressions as they were offering me something—comfort.
I felt comfortable in her gaze for some reason.
She walked a step towards me, extended her right hand and spoke, "My name is Ice, would you like to be my friend, Airu? "
My screen popped up.
[You have recieved a friend request from the player 'Ice' ]
[Accept] [Decline]
It was like the heaven and earth both changed their places.
Even in my dream I could not imagine such thing.
A beautiful lady to send me a friend request, to feel comfortable around me.
In real life most of the girls would feel disgusted with having me around. Their looks always told me to go away. But this girl, she wasn't feeling such thing with me. She was comfortable with having me around.
Once again, I rubbed my head with my right hand, and then shaked it with her.

She smiled and said, "It feels nice to be your friend, Airu. "
I smiled back and replied, "Same here. "
We shaked hands and I said goodnight to her as she logged off the game.
Now in this vast forest, the only things which were present near the nearly degraded corpse of the boss were the silence, the trees, the bushes, the wind, the setting sun, the Dila, and the player who was still blushing—me.
