"Ugh, she survived again? Just how…? How difficult can it be to take care of a single person who does not even move?"
I felt my insides burn as I watched the news. They were all talking about Iris and how she was found in a half-dead state.
The news put Jenna and Damian Black on a pedestal, painting them as angels who helped a person in need out while pointing blame at me and my company for neglecting Iris and letting her get to this condition.
But that was not what angered me. The main thing that angered me was the fact that the media was using this as an opportunity to paint me in a bad light, just to make Jenna seem better.
"How dare they say things like - 'this would have never happened when Jenna was involved'? Can't they see that this is her fault? She's the one who scouted Iris… Ugh…"
I wanted to immediately hold a press-conference and clear out the air, but my mother told me that it won't be a good idea.
