Being in the hospital with nothing to do was boring. The sterile white walls felt suffocating after a while.
Since Damian had decided to take my phone as well, there was truly nothing for me to do but sit down and wait for him to come back.
Thankfully, after one day of feeling like I was losing my mind, Damian came back with the doctor to check up on me.
"Do not strain your eyes for a while and rest as much as you can. Otherwise, the drug is out of your system as well. You are free to head back home."
The doctor looked nervous as he diagnosed me. I had a feeling it had something to do with Damian's glare making the doctor nervous.
"Are you sure nothing is wrong with her now?"
Damian asked, and the doctor wiped off the excessive sweat on his brow before he replied.
"I-I am sure about it. Well, I cannot say that this won't have any side-effects, but as for any real problem…the patient should not have any…"
