The burning car reflected in my eyes as I kept recording the people burning it away. I could not see their faces, but satisfaction oozed from their bodies in waves. They stood there like worshippers at an altar, admiring the flames as if the fire itself was their god.
I wished I could hear what they were talking about, but unfortunately, they were too far away from me.
I decided to take a chance and get closer to the pair to capture their conversation as well… and to know who the cloaked person was.
My heart hammered so loudly I feared they would hear it before I even stepped out of hiding.
The dense forest around us provided me with some cover, and I slowly made my way around. Once I got close enough, I turned on the video feature and started to record.
