OLEANDER
Grandma Clarice showed me another room, a great difference from the one I had been in earlier.
It was bright, golden light from the chandelier spilling across the space. The walls were painted a soft blue, and a queen sized bed sat as the room's centerpiece.
A large bookshelf stood near the window alongside a desk and a computer. On the vanity table, I noticed different hair and body products neatly arranged.
Immediately, I thought of Tessa. But the first room Hex had taken me to before was different from this one too.
There had been more pink than was necessary. That was hers. But I couldn't tell if this was.
Anyway, this room felt perfect for me, at least. It gave off the cozy vibe a room should have despite how spacious it was.
I shut the door behind me and walked to stand in front of the mirror. I slipped out of the shirt I was wearing, leaving myself bare.
I swallowed as I moved closer.
