Everyone was staring at me, making me uncomfortable. Gods don't really exist. They're just myths, I thought. Artemis was glaring at me, hard. "I've had enough! You boy, shall suffer!" she said, smiling sadistically. While the donkey man was mumbling "Oh no, oh no, oh no"
Without warning, Artemis waved her hand in front of me. Her hands glowed silver and directed it towards me. While the Omnitrix's color changed to pink.

She had tried to do magic on me? While she looked utterly confused, and suddenly her face contorted into rage. "What are you? How did you not become a jackalope?" she asked, outraged.

So that's what she tried to do. I had to be careful what I shared. I just shrugged "Maybe I'm special" and winked at her. On which every bow turned on me. Seriously, was there something wrong with winking?

Meanwhile Artemis just sighed and said "We have wasted enough time already. Bianca, come with me. You too Percy Jackson. And you," she said pointing at me "Do not try anything funny. I will let you go because you do not have the knowledge of gods." while I mock saluted her. Her eyes glinted dangerously, to which I gulped. This girl was honestly very scary.
The other girls glared at me and followed her. While I was left with the punk girl, Thalia (?), the donkey boy, and the young boy. I just said "Hi?"
"Dude, that was so cool! You just punched that monster! Awesome!" the boy said excitedly, jumping up and down.
The punk girl, Thalia just said "That was just plain stupid. Believe me, you don't want Artemis on your bad side. She isn't known as The Huntress for nothing."
The donkey boy said weakly "Hi. My name's Grover." And I asked him what I have been meaning to ask "Why are you a half donkey?"
Grover's eyes hardened and he said "Blah-ha-ha. I'm a half goat. And I'm a satyr. Many of them back at camp will stomp you with their hooves if they heard you saying that."
I just nodded. Sure. If there were half aliens, why couldn't there be half goats? Just when I thought it wouldn't get any weirder.
Thalia asked "How did you survive? Demigods don't usually survive till this age. And how the hell do you not know anything about the Greek world?"

I shrugged "I'm seriously not believing all this junk. If I'm a Demigod, how would I have a parent as a God? Last I checked, both my parents are humans. Maybe my dad has some anodite genes."
She just stared at me "Right. What even is this 'anodite'? Do you-" while she was cut off when my Omnitrix started ringing.
"Wha-?" she asked. I put a finger on my mouth to shush her. I picked up the call.
"Ben! We finally got you. Thank God! Where are you?" a female voice asked. Another male voice just said "Well done Tennyson. Vilgax has just disappeared. So have you."
I replied "Gwen, don't worry. I am currently in Westover, Maine. And no, you can't actually find me there, I'm in a different-" I went under a tree to avoid been listened "-universe. There aren't any Plumbers here, and another Ben 10 is out of question. And a bunch of people are saying the Greek myths are real. A girl is claiming she is The Artemis, goddess of moon."
Gwen must have been stupefied. She said "Right. I think you should believe them."
"What?" I asked. "Why do I have to believe them? Gods aren't real."
"Ben, one thing that we've learned about traveling different universe is that every one of them had a unique possibility. Maybe this universe has all of Greek myths really existing. I'm not saying to outright believe them. But at least don't disbelieve them. It might make them mad."

"Uh, yeah..." I said, awkwardly rubbing the back of my neck "I may or may not have pissed off Artemis, who said she was a goddess, by saying that gods don't exist."
I could imagine Gwen shaking her head and said "You'll never grow up Ben. Even when you're the 3 times savior of the universe, you still act first and then think later."
I shrugged "I know. It's always hero time. Although Vilgax managed to deactivate my transformation feature. It will take a few days to come back."

Gwen sighed and said "Well, be careful. Meanwhile, try to know this universe. And be on the lookout of Paradox." and signed off.
I went back to the group. While Percy had returned. He smiled at me and said "Hey, welcome to the Greek world. I'll show you around the camp." Finally, a friendly face.
"Sure. But it's still really hard for me to digest the fact that the Greek myths are actually true."
"So was I, when I first discovered it. The monster that you punched that while back, was actually the Manticore."
"A... Manticore?" I questioned. While Omnitrix beeped *Manticore. A mythical monster of the Greek Myths. It has a lion like body, and having a scorpion like tail.*
"Woah, that's cool!" Percy exclaimed. "How did your watch talk?"
"Yeah... It has an inbuilt AI, so it can search and answer for me. It's called the Omnitrix." I replied.
Percy said "That's pretty neat. How are you using it though? I thought that Demigods and technology don't go well together."

I shrugged "Really? Didn't know. However I had the Omnitrix since I was 10. It has gone through a lot of upgrades to finally perfect itself like this one" pointing at it.

Finally, Artemis came out of her tent and said "My brother Apollo is coming. He is so lazy in winter."
I looked at the sun, because Apollo was one of the gods I knew about Greek myths. He was the God of sun, so it made sense if he was appearing in the morning. I made a mental note to myself to not piss him off. Granted I was still sceptical of the myths, but it wouldn't hurt to believe them for sometime.
After a few minutes, I saw a daily recurring thing which I see in my universe. A flying Maserati convertible was slowly descending towards us (Yeah, we have flying cars in my universe). A teenager came out of the car and waved towards us "Hey lil Sis! How are you? You never call me."
Artemis gritted her teeth "I'm not your little sister! I'm older than you!"

The dude just waved it off "Sure, sure. Why did you call me for anyways?"
"I need a favor" she said "My hunters need to reach Camp Half-Blood. I need to hunt a monster alone. These demigods over here need to reach camp too."
"No problem." he said. He turned towards Thalia and asked "Thalia Grace, right?" Thalia nodded. He continued "Glad you're back. Man, I hate it when pretty girls get turned into trees. I remember that one time-"
"All right, that's enough Apollo!" Artemis interrupted
Apollo didn't seem to care. He turned towards Percy "Percy Jackson, right?" and stared at him. I wonder why, but it was making him uncomfortable. He said "Yes sir" although it was a bit wierd for me to hear Percy saying 'sir' to another teenager.
He finally turned towards me and asked "And who you might be?" Artemis answered for me "He's an interesting individual. I sense he's a Demigod, but he seems old enough to be an adult. Please make sure to keep an out for him. He seems to know nothing about the Greek world existing."
Apollo stared at me for sometime and said "Anyways, welcome aboard. What's your name by the way?"
Artemis face palmed "Of course I forgot to ask."
"Ben Tennyson. Pleasure to meet you... Apollo, God of sun, right?" I answered.
"Yeah. Just call me Apollo. You will sit in the front seat with me." he said.
Then the young boy asked (I can't believe I didn't ask his name yet) "How will we fit though?"
"Oh. Well I hate to change the form of my sun chariot but... Whatever." and Apollo clicked the button of the keys and it turned into a bus.
I got ahead and picked the front seat, where I assumed Apollo would sit. Slowly everyone started to come inside and pick a seat. Apollo picked Thalia to drive and I didn't miss her look of fear when she started driving.
Apollo sat beside me. After sometime he asked "So. How are you adjusting to our universe?"

"Wha-" I asked. How did he know? He answered for me. "Don't worry. Your secret is safe with me. As for how I know, I'm also a God of Prophecy. I can predict future." Woah, he can predict future? He continued "Although I don't know what your arrival here means, I hope you prove yourself useful. I will keep an eye out for you, because I still can't guess whether you're our friend or foe."
"Definitely not a foe." I answered. "I'm actually the 3 times savior of my universe."

He raised an eyebrow "Really?" he grinned "Then I hope you prove useful in the coming war."
"Woah, wait what war?" I asked. He sighed and answered "There's a prophecy where a child of either Zeus, Poseidon or Hades will decide Olympus' fate. It's the city of Gods. Even though I'm a God of Prophecy, I can't predict everything. But I can confirm that a war will break out."
"I will think about it. I have to stay here for some days to find an enemy of mine, Vilgax. I was actually fighting him, when he teleported both of us here. As for where he is... I don't know." I said.
Apollo sighed "Alright man. It's your decision after all. Good luck." and his attention went towards Thalia.

We stepped out of the vehicle. And one thing I learnt is to never let Thalia drive, ever again.

As I glanced ahead, I saw a large house. Percy turned to me and grinned "Welcome to Camp Half-blood. Although you're really late here."
I chuckled "I don't know what you mean by late." he answered "Usually demigods come here by the age of 15. You seem to be older."
"I'm 21." I answered. His eyes widened. He said "Wow. Maybe demigods do survive that long."

It's sad that they think they won't survive for long. I followed him to a big house, where I saw a ridiculous sight. A half horse man was playing something with a really fat man. "Chiron," Percy greeted the horse man, Chiron. "We brought the demigods."
Chiron looked at us and asked "Wasn't there supposed to be a girl and a boy?"
Percy smiled sadly "Yeah. The girl, Bianca joined the hunt. And this is Nico." Chiron sighed and asked me "Who are you? You seem like an older demigod."
Percy answered "Yeah, he came out of nowhere. But he punched the Manticore." Chiron then asked "Where's Annabeth?"
Percy immediately went silent. Chiron understood and sighed "Oh dear."
Percy said "I think she's held hostage. The manticore jumped with her and disappeared."
Chiron's shoulders sagged "Grover, take Nico to show him the orientation film."
He turned towards me and asked "You seem interesting. I don't often see a demigod surving till adulthood. What is your name?"
I answered "Ben Tennyson. Also, I found out that I'm a demigod like 4 hours ago and found out that the Greek myths are real."
He raised an eyebrow "Really? Do tell how?"
I had to be careful "I don't know... Sir." He asked "Did you see one of your parents missing?"
"Uh, no. I know both of my parents and lived with them."
"Did they perhaps remarry...?"
"Nope. They both have married each other from beginning."
"That is unusual, but not unheard of. Usually parents don't tell they had a child with a God and squash the information." he said with a sigh. Until you're claimed, you may go with Percy. He'll show you around."

I walked outside with Percy. He turned towards me and said honestly "So... I'm not good at this. Usually Annabeth shows a new person around. But she's..." he trailed off. "Anyways, come with me. I'll try explaining the best I can."
"How are the gods alive? Weren't they just myths?" I asked.
"Yeah, I asked the same thing. Gods are actually immortal. They can't die. They've now fitted themselves to the modern world. The mist hides us from the mortals, who are the normal people." he answered.
"Oh. Well how did-" I began to ask when someone interrupted and asked
"Who's this newbie?"
A burly, well built boy of age around 16 stepped forward. He said "Name's Peter. We've got an initiation ceremony for newbies. Come on, fight me."
He got ready in a stance and stepped forward to punch me. Using my self defence skills, I flipped him over. He said "You're dead now."
One thing I hated was bullies. I taunted "Come on then. Face me."
He surprised me and tackled me towards the beach. I fell into the water. Suddenly a huge wave formed and crashed him. He shouted "Percy! You shouldn't have interfered!" while Percy shouted back "It wasn't me."

I looked upwards and saw a trident hologram. What just happened?
