Rowan went out of the cave to catch the wind for a while, breathing in the fresh air of the night forest, then groped in the dark to pick up a lot of dry branches for Owen to grill meat.
"This amount should be enough." When he brought a large bundle of firewood back, the wood Owen had gathered earlier had just been used up.
"Hmm, you go rest on the beast skin that's already spread out." Owen took the firewood and shooed the Omegina away to rest, focusing on handling the rest of his meat, not needing Rowan to worry anymore.
Rowan had been busy all day, his muscles were falling apart, so he felt tired: "Then I'll sleep first."
"Go ahead." Owen finished grilling the smoked meat, the sound of eating much quieter so as not to disturb the sleeping person.
