Just as Owen was about to start cooking to show off Owen's domestic skills, Rowan fiercely chased Owen to the side to sit and rest. Rowan demanded that Owen teach Rowan how to stew the sheep meat with tubers to be as nutritious as possible.
Owen could only obediently sit and direct, helping by handing over spices. Owen learned to watch patiently as Rowan cooked the sheep soup, neutralizing the gamy scent with aromatic leaves and wild ginger. The flickering flames illuminated Rowan's serious face, leaving Owen staring blankly in a daze.
