In his old world, Kaito was easy to ignore – a boy doctors forgot about, classmates bullied for fun, and even fate seemed unwilling to notice. He survived by pretending everything was “fine” while life quietly erased him. Then the sky cracks open with a strange northern light. Kaito wakes up in a dead, frozen forest in a world called Principle, still bleeding from the beating that should have killed him. The trees are petrified, the air smells of ash, and yellow eyes watch him from the mist. Here, people, monsters and spirits are all written into the world by invisible rules. Blessings, curses, prophecies – everything follows those rules. Everything except Kaito. The world refuses to “write” him. Blessings slip past him, curses miss, even gods can’t fully grasp his existence. Hunted by ash-born beasts and feared by those who sense something “wrong” with him, Kaito clings to the only habit that kept him alive on Earth: turning fear into bitter humour and moving forward anyway. If this cruel world can’t see him, maybe he can use that blind spot. To survive. To protect those who still exist in its pages. And, one day, to change the very principle this world is built on.
