The Level 3 warrior stepped forward and stood calmly in the middle of the line without picking any weapon. Aries looked at him, confusion flickering across his face, but he didn't dwell on it for long. Instead, he moved toward the weapon rack, picked up two daggers, and returned to his position.
Then Thales said, "Start."
The moment his voice echoed across the space, Aries felt a sudden chill creep into the air. A shiver ran down his spine, and as he lifted his gaze toward his opponent, awe filled his expression.
The slender man with white hair was finally revealing what he truly was. Tiny water droplets began to form out of thin air, gathering from the moisture in the atmosphere. They converged toward him, spinning slowly before condensing into a long spear of solid ice, its surface sharp and gleaming under the light.
Awe spread across Aries' face as he watched the phenomenon unfold.
"An elementalist…" he muttered. "I can't fight this with daggers alone, can I?"
