Welcome to Chapter 1.
Before diving in, I wanted to clear up a few things so you know exactly what you're getting into.
Think of this section as a brief intro to help you decide if this fanfic is for you, and to give you some context for certain moments as you read.
First of all, this is a Crossover Anime Love Simulation fanfic.
That means multiple anime worlds are blended into one shared setting, and the story follows the MC as he moves through a world where all these universes intersect.
Before I list the included worlds, let me ease one of your worries.
I don't expect you to know every anime or every character that appears here. Maybe you've never watched some of them, or it's been years and the details are fuzzy.
That's completely normal. I've designed the story to work perfectly even if you have zero background knowledge. When characters appear, you'll still understand what's happening and enjoy the plot.
Of course, if you have seen these shows, the experience might feel a bit more special, but it's absolutely not required.
To help you visualize the characters, I'll also leave images in the paragraph comments whenever needed, so don't stress about that.
Second, while integrating different worlds, I've made small adjustments to ensure the story flows better. Nothing too drastic, but in a crossover with this many universes, some tweaks were simply necessary.
I hope you'll understand why I had to do it.
And finally, this is not your typical harem story.
Simply put, this isn't one of those fics where the MC instantly collects 2D girls at lightning speed like it's the most natural thing in the world.
Every girl who joins the harem is written with care. Their emotions, development, and dynamic with the MC are treated with actual depth. Everything is handled in a three-dimensional way.
As for the MC himself; unlike in many other harem ff/anime, he isn't some two-dimensional Pokémon trainer trying to capture as many girls as possible. Sure, the harem is large, but that isn't his goal.
He is, how should I put it… someone who has wholeheartedly dedicated himself to the Great Dao!
Alright, that covers everything for now.
Here are the Current Worlds planned:
Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, Bocchi the Rock, A Silent Voice, My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected (Oregairu), Yosuga No Sora, Saekano, White Album 2, We Never Learn...
(And more may be added in the future.)

Enjoy reading!

Chapter 1: Why Isn't It a Leveling System?!
Sobu High School. After merging with several other prestigious institutions, it had become a massive academic juggernaut, easily rivaling the likes of Shuchiin Academy and Hyakkaou Private Academy.
Class 3, Year 2.
A handsome young man wearing non-prescription glasses sat there, a look of profound melancholy etched onto his face.
"Haruka, what are you thinking about?"
"Oh, nothing much. I was just wondering... why is life so unpredictable?"
"Huh?"
The boy named Haruka did not elaborate. Instead, he let out a long yawn and shuffled toward his seat in the back row, right next to the window—the protagonist's seat.

His friend, Hayato Hayama, shook his head slightly. He was already used to Haruka occasionally spouting strange, philosophical nonsense.
Though, it was a little unusual. Why wasn't he studying with his usual fanatical intensity today?
Back at his seat, Haruka Kasugano had no idea what Hayama was thinking. He was simply staring at the past entrance exam papers for Tokyo University that he had specifically dug up, his expression twisting into pure frustration.
It had been over ten years since he transmigrated into this world. At first, he had no memories, only solving the mystery of his rebirth and regaining his past self's consciousness a short while ago.
Regardless, he had been here long enough to adapt. The only difference was that he now had ambition. He wanted to grind, to study hard, to get into Tokyo U, to shatter the class ceiling, and become one of the elites ruling society.
And the result?
Heh.
Which bastard said that Japan adopted a "relaxed education" policy?!
These questions were insane. They were asking for the specific parameters required for an astronomical telescope to observe a comet! Can a student raised on "relaxed education" really solve this kind of sadistic problem?!
In an instant, he lost all confidence in his academic future.
Studying? Study my ass!
Time to slack off!
And just like that, Haruka slumped over onto his desk, turning into a total deadbeat.
The bell for class rang soon after.
However, the person who walked in with the bell wasn't their usual teacher, Mafuyu Kirisu. Instead, it was their homeroom teacher, a balding old man.
"Ahem."
Accompanied by his clearing of a throat, a young girl who looked incredibly bright and pure walked in.
She had a bright, wide smile on her face, and her soft, sakura-pink hair cascaded gently down her shoulders.
There was a gentle air about her.
However.
"This is Shoko Nishimiya. She is deaf-mute. She's transferring into our class today, so please take good care of her."
A wave of gasps instantly rippled through the classroom.
After all, it was rare to encounter a deaf person in real life.
Naturally, everyone was surprised.
Facing the shocked expressions of the class, she remained very calm, as if she were used to this reaction. The smile on her face remained gentle and unwavering.
She bowed deeply to everyone.
Then, she turned and wrote her name on the blackboard.
Shoko Nishimiya.
The handwriting was neat, elegant, and very pretty.
However.
There was no response from the class below. It seemed that no one quite knew how to interact with a deaf person.
"..."
Clap, clap, clap!
At that moment, the sound of applause broke the silence.
It came from a beautiful girl with long, flowing black hair—a girl with a calm expression and an elegant demeanor, like a flower blooming on a distant mountaintop.
She clapped her hands lightly, welcoming the new girl.
Haruka glanced at her calmly.
That was Yukino Yukinoshita. Correct, the protagonist of My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected, and a celebrity within the school.

And on the podium was Shoko Nishimiya. He remembered she was the protagonist of A Silent Voice. The fact that she was attending this school meant that the plot had obviously changed.
Haruka thought about this idly as he clapped along.
Following the lead of Yukino and Haruka, the rest of the class snapped out of their daze and belatedly began to applaud as well.
She nodded slightly toward Yukino in gratitude, then bowed once again to the whole class.
"Alright, everyone is very welcoming. As for Nishimiya's seat, let me see..."
The bald old man scanned the seating arrangement in the classroom, his finger hovering hesitantly for a long while.
Finally, he pointed to the empty spot next to Haruka.
Don't misunderstand, this wasn't some special plot arrangement. It was simply because Haruka, and the person behind him, were the only ones without desk mates.
So, she was just slotted in there.
Oh right, who was the student behind him again?
He thought her name was... Gotoh?

Watching Shoko Nishimiya walk over, Haruka calmly stood up and helped her move the desk from the back, taking a moment to wipe the dust off it for her.
She sat down carefully. Before she even put her school bag away, she pulled a piece of chocolate out of her pocket and handed it to him nervously, like she was trying to thank him properly.
??
Haruka paused for a moment, then quickly understood. This was likely her way of thanking him for his help.
However, her behavior gave him a distinct feeling that she was walking on eggshells.
After a brief hesitation, Haruka accepted the chocolate. "Hello. I'm Haruka Kasugano."
She hurriedly pulled a communication notebook from her bag and wrote a sentence on it: "Hello, Kasugano-san. I am Shoko Nishimiya. It is nice to meet you."
When she handed it to Haruka, she secretly watched his face, checking to see if he was annoyed by how long it took her to write.
Fortunately, Haruka remained completely calm from start to finish.
And so, the two of them became acquaintances.
The class period flew by.
The bell rang for the end of class.
Haruka casually passed his notebook over to her, then stood up and walked out of the classroom.
He had noticed earlier that the bald old man spoke very fast during the lecture and hadn't taken her hearing into account at all. There was a lot of content she hadn't managed to write down.
That was why he handed her his notes.
Watching Haruka's retreating figure.
Shoko Nishimiya gripped the notebook tightly in her hands. Her slender fingers clenched it so hard that her knuckles turned white.
***
Nighttime.
Haruka returned to his home.
It was a perfectly ordinary, single-family detached house.
In this life, he came from a standard, average family. His parents were away working all year round.
However, he wasn't living alone.
"Sora, I'm back."
"..."
No response.
Haruka shook his head and walked into the living room. There, he saw dinner on the table, still steaming hot, next to a set of dirty dishes that had already been used.
'Looks like she went back to playing on the computer.'
He finished his dinner and did his homework.
By the time he was done, it was already late at night.
Haruka lay alone on his bed, staring blankly at the ceiling, his heart filled with infinite confusion.
He knew this was a slice-of-life anime crossover world.
But then what?
This was reality. Everyone here had their own personality. Reality wouldn't play out strictly according to a script. Besides, in a slice-of-life world—not a fantasy isekai—what could he actually do?
Go capture the heroines one by one?
Boring.
There was a difference between 2D girls and reality. Honestly, he still preferred the 2D versions he could swap out for a new "waifu" every three months.
So, he might as well focus his goals on becoming a member of the social elite. Once he was successful and famous, he could play whatever he wanted and eat whatever he wanted!
What a pity...
'Ahhh, am I really going to be mediocre for the rest of my life? Then I came here for nothing!' Haruka screamed internally, feeling like he was about to lose his mind.
'Why don't I have a cheat ability?! Why don't I have a system?! Are they out of stock?!'
"Ding!"
Hmm???
'I didn't hear that wrong, did I?'
'That was a distinct "Ding," right?'
'It had to be, right?!'
Haruka scrambled up from his bed like a neurotic maniac, his eyes practically sparking with excitement.
