Wen Mianmian staggered down the street, her eyes burning but dry.
She had already made a decision: she wouldn't cry for that scumbag.
Not one more tear.
She hopped on the first bus she saw and rode straight to Auntie Wang's small local restaurant, the place she, Yuqi, and Yuze had eaten at almost every day after class.
The moment she stepped inside, she spotted her friends.
"Mianmian!!" Yuqi waved excitedly.
Mianmian dragged her feet toward them, her face stiff and gloomy.
Yuqi and Yuze exchanged a look, something was very wrong.
She sat down heavily on the last empty chair, grabbed a can of beer without a word, cracked it open, and gulped it down in one breath.

Three beers in three minutes.
Yuqi leaned toward Yuze.
"What is wrong with her?" she whispered.
"I don't know… but she looks angry and sad at the same time," Yuze murmured back.
Mianmian turned to them with a trembling pout.
"Yu… Yuqi," she whispered in a croaked, tiny voice.
Yuqi straightened up, tense.
"Mianmian, what happened?"
"What's wrong?" Yuze asked, genuinely worried.
"Wang Hao…" she sniffed, "…cheated on me!!"
Both Yuqi and Yuze froze.
"What!!" Yuqi screeched so loudly the entire restaurant turned to look.
"And guess who he cheated on me with?" Mianmian hiccuped bitterly. "Rachel. Rachel Li!!"
Yuze blinked hard.
"Wait, Rachel? Our department Rachel?!"
"I'm going to kill those two," Yuqi growled, cracking her knuckles.
Mianmian wiped her eyes, except no tears came out.
"Ha! I already taught that trash a lesson. He'll never mess with me again. Ever." She let out a wobbly laugh.
"I knew that guy was fake, oh if I see him, he's dead!" Yuqi said
Yuze sighed.
"Mianmian… you're getting drunk."
"Me? Drunk?" she pointed at herself with dramatic disbelief. "I'm completely fineeeeee. You don't know anything."
"Let her drink," Yuqi said with a shrug as she grabbed a beer for herself. "Drink the sorrows away! At least it better than crying for those unfortunate couple".
Soon the two girls were clinking cans and laughing drunkenly, while Yuze sat there helplessly.
He didn't drink, someone had to take these two drunkard home.
"This day was the worst…" Mianmian suddenly mumbled, her lips wobbling. "I even told Mr. Yichen to come for an interview because we have coffee… a coffee…"
Yuqi stared at her.
Then burst into uncontrollable laughter.
"She's an idiot! Yuze, she's a big idiot!" she said, pointing at Mianmian and shaking Yuze's arm.
Yuze covered his face with his hand. And shaked his head with shame.
He could feel his lifespan shortening due to this two.
"Alright, that's enough. Time to go home," he said tiredly.
