ARCO 2- THE AWAKENING OF THE EIGHT.
When arriving at the academy some students were already there, Terrmomix entered without looking at anyone and with his cold expression.
Some students upon seeing him thought: "another arrogant one" but obviously no one knows everything he has been through.
After walking a few steps he came across someone who looked familiar to him, it was Floch.
Floch saw him and smiled.
-Finally you arrive, Terrmomix.- He said as he approached him.
-Wow, and I thought I was going to arrive early.- He said with his eyes, voice and expression showing no emotion.
Floch noticed this but decided not to say anything yet.
-But you arrived in time to see them
-See who?.
-You'll see- suddenly a special door begins to open.- In fact, they are already here.
-¡The group "The Awakened Heir"!, or as I like to call them "The Promises"-
Said Floch while all the students' eyes turned to that group.
Terrmomix also turned to look at them, though he did not feel the same fear upon seeing them
Floch began to introduce each one of them.
-Arien Valkaen, from the strongest family of all, the Valkaen family. The strongest and most popular of that group, his father was a former top 1, A true threat. He is American.
Arien walked with confident steps and a confident smile, his mere presence was imposing, he has blonde hair, his sword at his hip.
-Rika Tsukayomi, from the Tsukayomi family. The second strongest in the group, her family has a good reputation and to be honest, she is a very beautiful girl. She is Japanese.
Rika walked more calmly and relaxed, she has long bright red hair. Her katana at her waist.
-Kaien Dravik, from the Dravik family, he is the third strongest but they say he is the most dangerous. He is German.
Kaien walked nervously but tried to hide it, his hair was navy blue and his katana on his back.
-And last but not least, Haruki Aoyama, from the Aoyama family, for me he is the best of the four, very kind, not arrogant at all and he is Japanese just like Rika.
Haruki walked while greeting all the students who were looking at him, he had a smile on his face, he had purple hair, his katana at his waist.
-What's so special about that group?- Asked Terrmomix.
-Well the four of them have enormous potential, they don't need to demonstrate their strength, just being in the "The Awakened Heir" group already lets everyone know they are a threat
Floch discreetly pointed at Arien.
-Especially Arien, everyone has high expectations of him, it wouldn't be a surprise if he became this year's top 1.
Suddenly another door opening is heard, Floch turns and smiles.
-¡And here comes the other group! ¡The Black Sigil Bearers"!, but most people know them as "The Marks" or "marked ones".
-Will you introduce these ones to me too?
Floch patted him on the back.
-¡Of course!.
Four other boys entered through the door, their presence was just like that of The Promises.
-Kael Rhovan, from the Rhovan family and the strongest of The Marks, the only one who could fight Arien for first place. He is cold and serious but doesn't seem like one of the bad guys. He is British.
Kael walked at the front, his expression was cold, emotionless, his gaze was only fixed on Arien. His black hair and his katana at his waist.
-Zeik Morven, this one is my favorite, the second strongest in the group, he is somewhat cold but not as much as Kael, I have never talked to him but I already like him. He is Canadian.
Zeik walked without expression but his gaze was not as cold as Kael's, he has white hair, his katana at his waist.
-Liang Zhenhao, from the great Zhenhao family, his father is the King of China and since Liang is his only son, that makes him the future King.
Liang walked relaxed, looking around at everything, some girls were staring at him, upon noticing this he blushed and got nervous. His katana at his waist and he had gray hair.
-And Matteo Valtieri, I don't know him very well but I don't think he is conceited or selfish. From what I know, he is Polish.
Matteo followed his group, his face and posture reflected the confidence he has in himself, his dark blue hair, his katana on his back.
-And what's so special about these ones?
-Each member of this group has a number of marks on their body.
-And what do those marks mean or do?.
-Well let's say they are like boosters, it's said that one mark can increase their power by up to 25%. The marks need to be activated to grant that boost. They can activate their marks at will.
-And how many marks does each one have?.
-From what I know, Matteo has 2, Liang has 2, Zeik has 3 and Kael... He has 4.
Terrmomix could not feel amazement or fear, he only asked questions.
-So that means?...
-It means that Kael can reach up to 200% of his power.
-But wouldn't that make him stronger than Arien?.
-Yes, but the marks are not permanent, they can be deactivated if they receive a cut over them. Besides, they drain the bearer's energy faster and using them for a long time can cause side effects.
-So it requires great effort and a strong body.
-Exactly, not just anyone could withstand the marks, in a normal person it could even kill them.-Floch looked at The Marks- But there's something strange.
-What thing?.
-Every three years five boys have the marks awakened when they are 12 years old, but now there are only four of them, maybe the fifth hasn't arrived yet or the mark is still sleeping.
-Sleeping?.
-That's what it's called when the marks are inside the bearer but haven't become visible on their body yet.
The two groups stopped in front of each other, the strongest of each group stared at each other, one with a confident smile and the other with a cold expression.
The other members of both groups also looked at each other, the atmosphere there was intimidating.
-¡And they are, the two strongest groups of this year!, ¡They are eight boys who entered the academy without taking the assessment exam- Exclaimed Floch.
-And how do you know all that about them?- Asked Terrmomix.
-They are very famous, plus I researched more about them because they interested me.
-Do they hate each other or something like that?.
-No, but apparently they want to compete to see which group is the strongest, that's what I think.
The first to speak was Arien.
-So you're the strongest of the marked ones? The famous four marks... Not bad.- His voice showed his confidence and superiority.
-And you're the famous Arien, from the strongest family- Replied Kael in his cold tone.
-¡Exactly! ¡That's me! ¡The perfect Arien!.
Rika rolled her eyes upon hearing him be conceited again.
-How impressive- Said Kael sarcastically.
Suddenly a teacher from the academy announced that all students must go to the hall where instructions will be given.
The two groups separated to go to the hall, Floch laughed softly.
-I think it will be fun to watch them. Well, come on Terrmomix, we have to listen to the instructions.
Terrmomix nodded and walked alongside Floch towards the hall.
