Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Offering a processed energy bar to a creature of legend felt sacrilegious

Elara cautiously approached the creature, her hands raised in a gesture of peace. She remembered Nana Willow's advice: "Respect, offering, and heart." She reached into her backpack and pulled out a Luna Bar, the only vegan snack she had on hand. "I come in peace," she said, her voice trembling slightly but firm. "My name is Elara, and I'm from Oakhaven. Our town is in trouble. The land is dying, the river is drying up, and our community is suffering. I've heard the legends of the Moonclaw, and I'm hoping you can help us." She held out the Luna Bar, offering it to the creature as a sign of goodwill. She knew it was a long shot, but she had nothing to lose. She had to try, for the sake of Oakhaven, and for the sake of her own conscience.
