Captain America didn't reply.

His expression was blank.

Cold.

Then—

He moved.

In an instant, he appeared in front of Natasha Romanoff and threw a punch straight at her head.

Natasha reacted instantly.

She leaned back just enough—

The punch missed her face by inches.

The force of it alone pushed air past her.

Fast… she thought.

She twisted her body and kicked toward his side.

Captain America blocked it with his arm.

The impact echoed.

But he didn't move.

Instead, he went for her leg—

And tried to slam her down.

Natasha activated her suit.

For a split second—

She vanished.

Captain America's grip caught nothing.

She reappeared behind him and struck toward his neck with the back side of one of her blades.

Clang!

He blocked it with his forearm.

'Does he have eyes behind his back?'

Captain America turned and swung again.

This time faster.

Natasha crossed her arms to block—

The hit sent her sliding back across the runway.

She stopped herself, boots scraping hard.

"…Yeah," she muttered. "That's not normal strength."

Captain America didn't give her time.

He rushed forward again.

Natasha tapped her wrist—

And vanished once more.

She moved to the side—

Low.

Fast.

Then slashed toward his legs.

The blade left a faint violet trail—

But Captain America jumped back just in time.

The energy cut the ground instead—

Leaving a clean glowing mark.

Tony's voice came through the comms.

"Why is it taking this much time… Nat, what did he turn into?"

"Emotionless" Natasha replied calmly. "And stronger."

Captain America picked up a metal panel from the ground—

And threw it at her.

Natasha sliced it mid-air.

The panel split cleanly in two.

But—

He was already behind it.

He charged through the debris—

And slammed his shield into her.

Boom.

Natasha was thrown back—

Rolling across the runway before stopping.

She stood up quickly.

"…Good, Atleast the suit is working, I didn't feel a thing." she said.

Then she activated the camouflage again.

Her body disappeared.

Captain America stopped.

His glowing eyes scanned the area.

Silence.

Wind.

Fire in the distance.

Then—

A faint sound.

Behind him.

He turned—

Too late.

Natasha appeared mid-strike.

Her blade back aimed straight at his neck.

Clang!

He caught her wrist.

Stopped the blade inches away.

For a moment—

They stood frozen.

Face to face.

His glowing blue eyes.

Her calm, focused gaze.

Then—

He tightened his grip.

Natasha winced slightly.

"Yeah…" she said quietly.

"You're definitely not yourself."

And then—

She kicked off his chest and broke free—

Sliding back, Natasha steadied her stance.

Her eyes locked onto Captain America.

"Alright," she said under her breath. "Let's push this a little further."

Captain America didn't respond.

He moved first again.

In a blink, he closed the distance and threw a series of punches—precisely each aimed at her openings and her vital organs.

Natasha raised her arms and blocked—

One.

Two.

Three—

The fourth hit broke through her guard and sent her skidding back again.

She dug her heel into the ground to stop.

"Although its not hurting but it does surely throwing me back" Natasha mumbled.

Natasha activated her suit again.

She vanished.

Captain America stopped in place.

His head tilted slightly.

Listening.

Tracking.

Then—

He turned sharply and struck to his left.

Clang!

Natasha appeared mid-attack—

Blocked again.

"…Seriously?" she muttered.

He grabbed her arm—

But this time, she was ready.

She twisted her wrist and activated the blade.

A pulse of violet energy burst out—

Forcing him to let go.

Natasha flipped back and landed smoothly.

"I guess I should stop holding back now" She said as her suit begun to glow now.

"Let's see how you handle this."

A faint hum spread through the air as Natasha Romanoff's suit shifted, its surface darkening while thin lines of energy pulsed across it—her vibranium weave fully activating. She stepped forward without hesitation, choosing to face Captain America head-on instead of relying on stealth. He charged at her with overwhelming speed, his fist cutting through the air before crashing straight into her. A deep impact echoed across the runway, yet Natasha didn't move an inch. Instead, the force was absorbed and instantly rebounded, releasing a shockwave that pushed him back for the first time.

She tilted her head slightly, a calm confidence in her eyes. But Captain America didn't slow down. His next attack—a powerful kick aimed at her ribs—landed cleanly, only for the energy to be absorbed again and released in a violent burst that forced him to slide backward. Seeing the shift in momentum, Natasha moved in. Her counterattack was fast and precise, her punch slamming into his chest with amplified force. Even when he blocked, the impact still traveled through his defense, making his arms tremble.

She pressed the advantage, launching a relentless barrage of strikes. Each blow carried stored energy, each impact releasing accumulated force back into him. The rhythm of their clash echoed—metallic clashes mixed with explosive bursts—as his own attacks began working against him. Over the comms, Tony's impressed voice cut through the chaos, but neither of them paid attention.

Captain America stepped back briefly, recalculating. Then he surged forward again, faster and sharper, chaining together a low sweep, a high strike, and a shield bash in one fluid motion. Natasha met every move—blocking, redirecting, and finally catching the shield itself. The moment it struck her arm, the energy was absorbed, stored, and unleashed in a powerful shockwave that sent him flying several meters away.

For a brief moment, silence took over the battlefield. Smoke drifted between them as Natasha stood calm and steady, her suit glowing faintly. She acknowledged his strength with a quiet remark, but he simply rose again, his grip tightening on the shield as the unnatural glow in his eyes intensified, becoming more unstable than before.

The air grew heavier.

Captain America slowly straightened, his grip tightening around the shield as the blue glow in his eyes flickered violently—no longer stable, no longer controlled.

"I guess I am getting back you" Natasha said as she got ready to beat Captain back into sense once again.
