Chapter 12 - CHAPTER 12 — RETURNING HOME, MEETING REI, AND INKO’S NIGHT

The late-afternoon sun hung low over the apartment complex, casting warm amber streaks across the walkway. Izuku stepped out of the elevator and into the familiar concrete corridor, the faint smell of curry from a neighbor's dinner mixing with the cool spring air drifting in from the stairwell window.

He adjusted the strap on his backpack, still feeling the ghost warmth of Momo's lips from their earlier kiss. His mind was a knot of new instincts, newfound strength, and the weight of promises he had no intention of breaking.

Home.He exhaled.

Just a few steps from his door—

A door opened beside him.

And someone stepped out.

"—Ah!" a soft, surprised voice gasped.

Izuku blinked and froze.

A woman stumbled directly into him, her gym bag swinging off her shoulder as she tried to catch her balance. Long white hair cascaded over one shoulder, her soft gray sweater sliding down her opposite arm to reveal a smooth, pale collarbone. Yoga pants hugged every curve of her hips, thighs, and rear—so tightly they seemed painted onto her.

Rei Todoroki.

The neighbor he'd glimpsed maybe twice.Quiet.Beautiful.Always polite.

But right now—

She tripped.Fully.

"Whoa—!" Izuku caught her instinctively, one hand on her waist, the other steadying her arm.

And then he realized.

Rei's sweater wasn't thick enough to hide anything. Her breasts—J-cup, more generous than anything he'd seen outside of Momo's or Isabella's—pressed against the knitted fabric, nipples stiff enough to cast shadows beneath the hall light.

And she wasn't wearing a bra.At all.

Her yoga pants...oh.His brain stuttered.

He hadn't meant to look—but the shape was unmistakable, a soft, full camel toe clearly visible where the fabric hugged between her thighs. And a darker patch was starting to form there, faint but impossible to miss from this close.

"Ah—! I'm so sorry!" Rei gasped, cheeks flushing bright pink as she steadied herself. "I should've been paying attention, I—"

"No, no, it was my fault," Izuku blurted, releasing her gently, trying—and failing—not to stare. "Are you okay, Miss Todoroki?"

"It's just Rei," she said quietly.

Her voice was warm honey. Gentle. Soft. And trembling.

She pushed a loose strand of hair behind her ear, sweater slipping even lower, exposing the top curves of her chest. Izuku jerked his eyes away, ears burning.

What is wrong with me?Why is she not wearing—

Rei noticed him noticing. And instead of being embarrassed…

She smiled.

A shy, almost vulnerable smile that made her look ten years younger.

"I—I was just heading to yoga," she murmured, lifting her gym bag. "The studio down the street. I must've… gotten distracted."

Her eyes flickered down his chest, then up again. Lingering.

Something in her expression softened.Melted.Like she recognized something in him she'd been waiting for.

Izuku swallowed.

"I, um… just got home."

"Mmm," she hummed softly, stepping ever so slightly closer. "Long day?"

Why did that sound flirtatious? Why did she smell so good—like lavender detergent and something faintly sweet beneath it?

He nodded. "Y-Yeah. Pretty long."

Rei bit her lip—nervously, yet intentionally.

"Well… if you ever need anything," she said softly, "I'm right next door."

Her voice dropped half a note.

"Anything at all."

Izuku opened his mouth—had no idea what he'd meant to say—

Rei stepped past him, brushing his arm with hers as she walked by. The contact sent a shiver through her body so visible she flinched. Her breath caught, thighs pressing together reflexively.

She paused… then turned back.

"And… Izuku?" she said quietly.

He froze. "Y-Yes?"

Her cheeks were crimson. Her nipples unmistakably hard.

"Thank you… for catching me."

She hurried off toward the stairs, hands gripping her gym bag too tightly.

Izuku stood there for a full ten seconds, face redder than Bakugou's explosions.

He finally exhaled.

"What just happened…?"

He entered the apartment.

Warm light spilled across the entryway. The smell of simmering miso soup drifted from the kitchen.

Ochaco was probably at school late, and Appoline was still running errands—but one person was definitely home.

"Inko?" he called softly as he removed his shoes.

"In here, sweetie!" she responded, voice warm and bright.

He stepped into the kitchen—and stopped.

Inko wasn't wearing her usual sweater and jeans.Instead:

A soft, silky pale-blue camisole clung to her body, thin straps loose on her shoulders. Her emerald hair was tied back with a ribbon, a few strands framing her warm face. Her hips—full, plush, goddess-level soft—were hugged by lounge shorts that didn't even reach mid-thigh.

She turned, smiling at him—then paused.

Her breath caught.

A faint blush touched her cheeks.

"You look… happy," she said softly. "Did something good happen today?"

Izuku didn't know where to begin. So much had happened.Training.Momo's kiss.Isabella's awakening.Rei falling into him and—

He shook his head lightly.

"Just… a lot. But I'm home now."

Inko's smile softened.

"Good," she whispered. "I'm glad you're safe."

She stepped forward, lifting one hand to brush his hair from his forehead in that familiar, tender way she always had—but this time, her fingers lingered. Her palm cupped his cheek, thumb brushing his skin with a gentleness that made warmth bloom in his chest.

"Inko…" he breathed.

Her eyes lifted to his.

"Do you want to talk about it?"

And then—A soft, faint hum.

A vibration.

From the wall.

Izuku blinked and turned his head.

There it was again.Humming.Like a small electric razor or a massage wand.Followed by—

"…nnnh…"

A soft feminine moan.Barely-there.But unmistakable.

Inko froze.

"That's… Rei next door," she whispered, cheeks flushing. "She's usually quiet… I wonder…"

Izuku swallowed hard.

The sound continued.Soft.Muffled.Rhythmic.

Inko bit her lip.

"Well… um… Let's give her privacy, okay?" she whispered, gently guiding him toward the living room.

Izuku nodded slowly as the muffled moans continued faintly behind the wall.

Later that night

Dinner had been warm, quiet, full of soft smiles and lingering touches from Inko.Afterward, she sat beside him on the couch as they watched an old movie, her head resting on his shoulder, her hand brushing his every so often.

The faint humming continued from Rei's apartment, off and on, each time followed by a frustrated sigh.

Inko noticed. They both did.But neither commented.

When the movie ended, Inko turned to him.

Her emerald eyes glowed softly in the dim light.

"Izuku," she whispered. "Can we talk? In my room?"

His breath caught.

"…yes."

Inko's bedroom was warm.

Candles flickered on her dresser, filling the air with soft vanilla and cherry blossom. She closed the door gently behind them, heart racing loud enough he could hear it.

She turned to him.

"You've grown," she whispered. "So strong. So kind. So… dependable."

Her hand lifted, tracing the line of muscle on his arm, then resting over his chest where his heart beat steadily beneath.

"You're not that trembling, frightened boy who came to live with me years ago," she said, voice trembling. "You're a man now."

He swallowed hard.

"Inko…"

She stepped closer.

"Izuku," she breathed, "I know I'm not your mother. I never pretended to be. I raised you because I loved you. And I never thought you'd… look at me the way you look at her. At Momo. At Isabella."

Her hand slid up his chest, fingers curling lightly at his collar.

"But tonight… when you came home…"Her voice trembled."…I felt something I've never allowed myself to feel."

She leaned up—Pressed her forehead to his.

"I want you," she whispered.

Izuku's breath shook.

"Inko… I want you too."

She exhaled—relief flooding her body.

"Then kiss me."

He did.

Soft at first. Gentle. Exploring.

Inko melted instantly, hands sliding around his neck, pressing her body fully against his. The heat of her curves, the softness of her breasts, the subtle vanilla scent of her hair—it overwhelmed him.

The humming from Rei's apartment grew louder for a moment—

"Mmn—ah—!"

And Inko shivered.

"Let her hear," she whispered against his mouth. "I want the world to know who you belong to tonight."

Izuku kissed her harder.

Clothes were forgotten.Heat rose.Hands explored.Soft gasps and breathless whispers filled the room.

The world blurred.

Only Inko mattered.

And eventually—

They collapsed onto her bed, tangled in sheets, warm skin against skin, Inko's fingers gripping him tightly as she gasped his name over and over—

And the world faded to white.

Morning

Light filtered through the curtains as Inko stirred, tangled in blankets with her head on Izuku's chest. Her lips brushed his skin softly as she blinked awake.

Warm.Safe.Loved.

"Izuku…" she whispered.

He stroked her hair.

The system chimed.

[Companion Detected: Inko][Devotion: 92% → Awakening Imminent][Bloodline Prime: Yamato (Ice Guardian)][Fertility Surge Detected][Conception Successful — 4 Embryos Stabilizing]

Inko gasped softly as a cool, gentle wave flowed through her body. Her skin glowed faintly blue-white along her collarbone and hips, the first signs of her ice-based lineage awakening.

"Izuku…" she whispered again, tears filling her eyes. "I feel… warm. And cold. And alive. I feel everything."

She pressed a hand to her belly.

"…I think I'm pregnant."

Izuku kissed her forehead.

"You are."

A sob escaped her—joyful, trembling.

"I love you," she whispered. "I love you so much."

He held her close.

And as they walked into the kitchen together, hand in hand, Rei stepped out of her apartment at the same moment—eyes shadowed, cheeks flushed, legs pressed together tightly.

She looked at Inko's glowing skin. Then at Izuku. Then at the mark of dried sweat on his collarbone.

Her breath hitched.A shiver ran through her thighs.

"…morning," Rei whispered, voice raw.

Inko smiled warmly.Izuku gently nodded.

Rei stared at Izuku a moment too long.

The buzzing from her apartment still hadn't stopped humming.

And her devotion had only just begun.
