"What's the matter?"
The young man standing at the front suddenly changed his expression.
There was deep emotion in his eyes, mixed with the kind of sorrow one might expect from someone who had just been betrayed.
"Did you abandon me just so you could get close to Young Master Fenrir?"
Eli had not expected such an opening.
"...You've mistaken me for someone else."
The young man's expression became even more troubled. His face carried helplessness and hurt, but his movements were decisive as he suddenly grabbed Eli's arm.
"Fine, maybe I'm not as good as Young Master Fenrir. But why are you keeping both me and my friend hanging at the same time? How could you do this to us?"
Eli immediately sensed that something was wrong.
He tried to pull his arm free, his expression and voice becoming colder.
"Move. I don't have time for your act."
The young man's supposed friend stepped forward at precisely the right moment.
