Togata exhales as he looks at Aira. ''Huh, that's new''.
''What is?''. Aira asks.
''I guess I couldn't notice it before cause I was hysterical...But...Everything's louder...Your heartbeat, and smells...Also,....you look surprisingly pretty up close''. Togata jokes.
Aira blinks. ''W...What? Huh?!''. Aira says confused.
''Compliments are unnecessary young master, focus on restraint''. Tick says as he watches Togata closely.
''Relaaaax ghost buns...If I wanted to hurt someone this dry as hell hair woulda already been embarrassed''. Togata says with a smile. ''Huh, hey pinky the halo on your head's gone, guess I don't have to kill ya now. You dodged a bullet, you're pretty strong''.

Aira looks at him confused. ''He really is like a different person''.
''Yes, it must be the transformation, Death gave him a 'piece' of himself, I don't know what that means, but what the young master is saying isn't totally false, I feel that he's still himself, just a more talkative version, we must find a way to let the real him take control''. Tick explains.
''So you're telling me he keeps all this inside? How is he talking like that?''. Aira asks.

''This is taking too long anyway! I'm finishing this now, Do you still want to kill people?''. Aira asks.
''Yes''. Togata replies.
Aira throws another bucket of water on him.

Aira throws a bucket again.
''That would be enough Miss Shiratori''. Tick says.
''Hey, can you like stop throwing water on me, I'm trying, but I might try harder if you agree to go out''. Togata jokes.
''Eh ehm, well it's an improvement. Good young master keep it up''. Tick says.
Aira throws another bucket of water on him.
''Do not overdo it, Miss Shiratori''. Tick says.
''Ugh, thought you were cute, yer just annoying me now''. Togata sighs as he materializes his scythe the hums spike as he grabs it.
''Hmm, I thought so''. Tick says.
''What is it?''. Aira asks.
''This thing, it's the source, it tells him to kill people, I can hear the voices as well''. Tick says.
''Huh? Really? Kind of like the Evil Eye, we took his underwear cause he said the same thing''. Aira says.
''Yo girly, don't compare me to that barbarian, I don't just kill anything in sight''. Togata says.
''What would you mean by that young master?''. Tick asks.
''There''. Togata says pointing at Aira's head with his tied arm. ''There used to be a halo on her head, If there's a halo, I have to kill ya, simple, I don't just go around merking everyone''. Togata explains.
Aira crosses her arms as she stares at him. ''You won't kill anyone, and I'm not girly I'm leader capiche?''. Aira says as she throws another bucket of water on him.
''Uhh, Not sure I can do that boss lady, boss man's gonna be pissed''. Togata says.
''So you're his little errand runner or something?''. Aira says.
''Nah, I do what I want, when I want, I just do it cause those voices won't stop yapping and the halo thingies piss me off, staring at me all the time, it's still me though''. Togata says.
''Hmm, well then let us remove the voices''. Tick says as he removes his hood and takes the scythe from him. The hums seem to die down, getting quieter but not disappearing
''Young master how do you feel now?''. Tick asks.
Togata looks different, his skin is almost transparent like that of a sick person, his irises are gone all that remains is a grey outline like fogged glass, where they used to be. His hair is slightly discolored not it's usual bright dark blue. His face is unnaturally calm, no expression leaks from it.
''Woah, the voices are gone''. Togata says.
''Ugh, why does he look like that, plus is his voice is delayed or something?''. Aira asks.
''This must be side effects of the transformation, it seems it's not hiding a monster, it's muting a human, the one we know and love, and unholy transformation indeed.''. Tick says.
''Hey! Ya still wanna kill people?''. Aira asks.
''Nah boss lady, I'm good''. Togata says.
''Well it appears to have worked''. Tick says.
''Not so fast, If you really are Togata in there now, say something he would''. Aira says.
''You tied the knot wrong, it's secure, but sloppy''. Togata says with no emotion.
''Idiot''. Aira says.
''Well that does sound like him''. Tick says.
''Then time for a final test''. Aira says as she lets go of him with her hair.
''Still want to kill us?''. Aira asks.
''Don't worry, I won't as long as you two are here I'm chill, honestly you scare me more than the boss man, you're crazy boss lady''. Togata says.
''You sure you still don't want to hurt anyone?''. Aira says.
''It's fine now that the voices er gone I won't let the instinct decide for me, I'm my own, guy now broski's''. Togata says deadpan as he gives them thumbs up.
''Still annoying, but harmless, I think we've home trained him now''. Aira says.
''Young master de-transform, we were successful!''. Tick says excitedly. ''And it seems you are running out of life force.''. Tick says.
''Don't wanna, too much work Berty, I'm fine like this''. Togata says.
''Huh, what's up with him now!?''. Aira asks.
''I believe now that he can't hurt anyone he would rather not do anything''. Tick says as Togata sits on the ground covering himself in dirt.
''I just.... wanna rest here...That's nice...''. Togata says as he lies there.
''So he's depressed?''. Aira asks.
''Uh huh''. Tick replies.
''The hell kinda strange power is this?''. Aira says.
Suddenly Togata de-transforms. ''Huh? What am I doing!?''. Togata says as he gets up dusting himself off.
''So you could de-transform? You were just being annoying''. Aira says angrily.
''No...That wasn't me''. Togata replies.
''Oh my, It seems this state has a self preservation mechanism, when your life force drops below a certain threshold, it disengages''. Tick explains.
''So a safety switch?''. Aira says.
''Yeah...Guess Death wants me around for a while''. Togata says disappointedly.
''How do you feel young master?''. Tick asks.
''Tired, but I'm alright, I think, I can control it now''. Togata says.
''Yes, I feel it as well''. Tick says.
''Finally!''. Aira says.
''Not so hasty miss Shiratori, we must test one last thing''. Tick says.
Everyone is inside as Togata rests peacefully on his bed.
''Looks like he's getting a good night's rest''. Aira yawns. ''I'm going to bed if he kill someone it's on you Tick''. Aira says as she walks off.
''Thank you for your assistance miss Shiratori, good night, from me and the young master as well''. Tick thanks.
''Don't need to thank me, all in a day's work for the leader of course''. Aira says as she leaves.
Tick stares at Togata resting. ''I'm glad you're all right young master''. Tick says as he sits next to him.
''But I have a feeling this is but the beginning of our problems''. Tick says to himself.
