Togata wakes up to see Tick cleaning the room. ''Morning Tick''. Togata says with a smile.
''Good Morning young master, I'm glad you slept well''. Tick says with a smile. ''It's also nice you're not calling me Berty, or ghosty''.
''Slept as well as I could''. Togata says. ''Berty? I really said that huh? Sorry about that''. Togata replies chuckling.
''What do you mean as well as you could?''. Tick asks.
''The nightmares are still there but, different...Calmer, it isn't torment just confusing''. Togata says.
''I apologize I could not be there I had to watch you''. Tick says.
''It's alright Tick, I know you want the best, thanks for everything, I know I can be an idiot at times but, I....''. Togata says as he is cut of by Tick.
''No need young master! I understand!''. Tick cries dramatically as he rushes over to hug him.
''You're the best Tick, just glad everything's slowed down now''. Togata sighs.
''Indeed! Well let us go meet the others for breakfast''. Tick says.
Togata goes to meet the team who are eating.
''Morning everyone''. Togata says.
''Morning Togata''. Jiji says.
Aira walks in hair messy as she sits down to eat.
''Well some people are up late, you and Aira actually, kinda suspicious if you ask me''. Momo says interrogatingly.
''Yeah what were you two doing last night huh?! Night wuving!?''. Jiji jokes hugging himself.
''Shut it, I wouldn't be caught dead wasting my beauty sleep on him, I would be asking you two the same thing, sitting down there in the basement every night cuddling each other''. Aira says irritated.
''Huh?''. Togata asks.
''SHUT UP!''. Momo says.
''Can I get some breakfast as well?''. The Serpo asks.
''What do you even eat?''. Jiji replies.
''So that's what you guys were doing huh? I thought Jiji said he was helping you sleep? What acting as your teddy bear?''. Togata jokes.
''Ya better not be thinking anything stupid in that small brain of yours or I'll really kill ya this time!''. Momo shouts.
Mr Mantis Shrimp and Togata laugh.
''C'mon no time for dillydallying we have an alien invasion in 3 days, training time''. Aira says.
''Oh yeah, hey, Togata, we're doing this thing where we fight against simulations of the aliens we fought earlier using some Serpo tech. Aira can we train there today?''. Jiji asks.
''Yeah whatever as long as your training''. Aira replies still eating.
Everyone heads down to the basement as Jiji brings the device to Togata.
''What's that?''. Togata asks.
''It's the Serpo tech, it'll scan your memories and show the aliens you fought, so you can go up against em again''. Momo explains.
''HUH!?''. Tick and Togata shout.
''Yeah, what never seen tech this advanced before?''. Momo asks.
Aira pulls Togata to the side whispering.
''Wait won't it show everything you've fought including him!?''. Aira whispers.
''Yes young master I do not believe it would be wise to show them the aliens we fought! They might become suspicious!''. Tick whispers.
''What are you three talking about?''. Jiji asks.
''Uhh nothing! Just that, I don't want to use the device...''. Togata says.
''Why's that?''. Momo asks.
''Erm, the aliens I fought were just a few it's embarrassing''. Togata replies making up an excuse.
''Psh, no worries this is a safe space dude, c'mon let me into ya brain!''. Jiji says as he pushes the device near his eye.
''No!''. Togata says as he pushes away. ''Really I just don't want you guys to think I'm weak...''. Togata says.
''Oh, ok, no problem we can just train outside again today''. Momo says.
Tick, Togata and Aira sigh a sigh of relief as everyone heads outside.
Togata sees something standing in the distance, a familiar tall figure in a black cloak walks by as he stops and smiles at them, disappearing soon after. Togata is stopped in his tracks stunned.
''Do you see that Tick?''. Togata asks.
''Unfortunately''. Tick says.
Aira looks at them noticing they're seeing something.
''Oh yeah we should probably be hiding the house''. Mr Mantis Shrimp says.
''Why?''. Jiji asks.
''Because yesterday when I went over to check on Chiquitita word had gone around that a young child was found dead in the forest's near here, they say he slipped while playing and fell down a gorge''. Mr Mantis Shrimp explains.
''He should have been more careful, your young are quite stupid''. The Serpo comments.
''Keep ya mouth shut! Don't you even have a ounce of sympathy?''. Momo shouts kicking him.
''Yes, that is why we must hide the house, the police are looking around here for the child's belongings or any evidence of foul play''. Mr Mantis Shrimp explains.
''Yeah...Makes sense he's here''. Togata sighs to himself.
''Okay thanks for the heads up Mr Mantis Shrimp, let's get to work''. Aira says transforming.
Togata walks off on his own with Tick.
''Where ya going dude?''. Momo asks.
''Uhh, my power can get problematic with others around, I don't want stop you guys from training so me and Tick will do it on our own, see you soon''. Togata says as he waves them off.
''K, dude see ya later''. Jiji says.
Togata and Tick find an open field in farm near the area.
''No one around too, this should do''. Togata says.
''Young master, one more thing...I'm sorry, I apologize that my power is so weak as that wicked cat had said! Now you have been forced to make use of that demon's power!''. Tick says.
''Don't apologize for something like that Tick, it isn't your fault, by the way you're power isn't weak, I guess my body just can't use it well, the only reason I'm using this other power is cause it uses less life force, and it'll be useful in a full on war''. Togata explains.
''That is true young master''. Tick says.
''Okay, then let's begin''. Togata says.
''Wait!''. Tick says as he flies off, he comes back with a scarecrow and a bucket of water. ''Just in case''.
Togata smiles. ''Good point''.
Before Togata can do anything Aira comes in.
''Hey!''. Aira calls out.
''Miss Shiratori, welcome''. Tick says.
''What are you doing here?''. Togata asks.
''I don't trust you to use that power alone, so I'll chaperone you just in case, I kept the others busy with reps so we have time on our own''. Aira explains.
''Uh..Thanks Aira''. Togata says.
''Uh uh, It's leader to you''. Aira says.
''Thank you, fearless leader''. Togata says in a chant like manner without meaning.
''Ok then go ahead''. Aira says watching closely.
Togata focuses as he transforms his power manifesting as a dark cloak forms around him, although without his hood covering his head.
''How do you feel?''. Tick asks.
''Dunno, I'm not tired, just feel empty''. Togata says deadpan as he slouches.
''At least your not out of control, the training seems to have worked''. Aira says.
''Well then, go ahead young master attack! Manifest your weapon!''. Tick says.
Togata manifests his scythe.
''How does it feel?''. Tick asks.
''Do you still hear the voices?''. Aira asks.
''Yeah, but, I ain't listening to them, so don't splash me with water''. Togata says.
''Good, now attack!''. Tick says.
Togata pokes at the scarecrow in front of him without energy.
''Eh ehm, young master I'm not so sure that is how to use it''. Tick says.
''How did you use it before?". Aira asks.
''Dunno''. Togata says.
''Huh?''. Aira replies confused.
''I dunno....The thing told me everything I should do and besides, It was that last version of me that knew how to use it''. Togata says sitting down. ''You know the mind controlled one with the arg! Imma kill everyone arg! stuff. I don't know how to use this thing''.
''Uh huh, how useless can you be? Now that I think about it what the hell kinda weapon is that!?''. Aira asks.
''A scythe, I believe it was once a gardening tool used back in my days''. Tick says.
''A gardening tool? So what he's gonna grow a garden for the aliens or something?! C'mon attack, do something!''. Aira shouts.
''Can I kill people?''. Togata asks.
''No''. Tick and Aira reply.
''Welp, no thanks then''. Togata says sitting down.
''This isn't working''. Aira says disappointedly.
''Yes....., young master de-transform''. Tick says.
''Nah too much work''. Togata says.
Tick splashes water on Togata.
''Ugh, fine''. Togata says as he de-transforms.
''At least we figured out how to make him de-transform''. Aira says.
''What happened?''. Togata asks.
''I was gonna ask you the same thing lazy''. Aira replies.
''I don't know, it just....Felt like I lost all motivation, it was weird''. Togata says.
''What kind of power is this anyway!? What damage can you do to the aliens with a gardening tool!?''. Aira asks.
''I don't know, but when I use the scythe things just disappear, it'll be useful''. Togata explains.
''Well should we try again young master?''. Tick asks.
''Yeah...may...''. Togata says as he is cut of by the sound of a man screaming at them.
''HEY! WHO ARE YOU FOLKS! IF YOU'RE THIEVES GET OFF MY FARM!''. The man shouts as he runs towards them with a weapon.
''HUH!?''. Aira, Togata and Tick shout.
