I woke up only to discover that I was surrounded by total silence.
My head hurt badly and I felt a sharp ache behind my eyes as I slowly opened them. The last thing I remembered was being dragged by the rogues and I struggled with them to free myself, and then something happened, and no matter how hard I thought about it, I I couldn't explain it.
I sat up and tried to calm down and steady my breath, but everything around me felt different and it was as though the air surrounded me like it was waiting for my command. What happened?
I blinked and I tried to brush off the dizziness as I looked around. My surrounding was dim, and the tall trees surrounded me, and they blocked the sunlight from getting to me but none of that mattered beecause three rogues were lying motionless on the ground.
