Reno flashed through the night sky his eyes scanning the quiet, dead environment. If Rexy is on earth, there is a huge possibility that she's here too.
Then, a fierce thunderbolt struck him hard and straight to the ground.
"Aghh…..
He moaned in agony and tried standing up but was struck down again. Gathering his strength, he countered attack and then, a wicked laughter echoed through the environment.
"Come on Reno! This is what I least expect from the devil's son. A heir at that, someone that dines with Satan himself. Rexy can do better" his aunt Liriah said wickedly.
He snorted, "thats because you share same ambition. Or even worst!" he shouted standing on his feet again.
"Don't talk to me like that boy!" She shouted in anger and all the surrounding trees burned to the ground instantly.
"You are here for the princess too, aren't you? Well, I'll find her first before any of you can. She isn't your lab rat, her people needs her"
"Oh silly boy. Who gave you the idea that you will find her before I can? And those poor villagers? I can rule over them myself, they don't need a filthy princess.
"I have been looking all over for you, but since you brought yourself to me, Let me teach you how to respect your elders" she said and shot a bolt of lightning at him.
He dodged the it, and countered immediately, sending a spark of fire from his eyes. It got her on her stomach and she bent double in pain.
He used this opportunity to escape, but she recovered amazingly fast. She lightened up the sky with powerful lighting filled with anger. Thunderbolt rumbled shaking the earth as she chased him relentlessly. But he escaped by turning into a trail of dark smoke and dissolved.
He sat in my office the next morning his head on his palms. This is getting more tough. Did father send me to earth to meet my death? This place is too dangerous and if they find the princess before me, I'll loose the throne too and hell will be divided because the people of the celestial city are becoming impatient.
"Reno….." his father suddenly spoke into his subconsciousness.
He quickly jerked to attention. "Father, you've finally decided to speak to me right? Did you send me here to be killed? Father, Rexy and aunt liriah are here too and i barely escaped being killed yesterday! Why did you let them through the pothole? I….."
"Will you stop throwing tantrums and let me speak!" he was rebuked his father who got irritated.
"First of all, you know I no longer have control over Rexy and Liriah anymore. Rexy is a betrayal and a disgrace to the entire kingdom of darkness and Liriah is too stubborn to listen to me.
"So all an trying to say is that you must do your best to steer clear of them and find the princess first. Be the devil's heir you are, fight ruthlessly and bring back the princess to restore peace. Time is running out" he said and cut off.
"Father are you there?" he asked anxiously but there was no response.
"There is no way this is possible!" he screamed in anger flinging away the files on my desk.
There was a knock on the door. Irritated, he snapped "if you have a brain, you will come in and stop disturbing me"
His personal assistant Maxwell stepped in cautiously but on seeing him in a foul mood, he withdrew.
Guilty that he made him scared, he sighed and steadied his emotions.
"Do you have any issues that need my attention?" he asked calmly.
Max nodded timidly, "its nothing really serious, just that the Walker group reached out to us for help and I agreed except that I gave them the condition that you must go out on a date with their daughter. Remember you said you are looking for a strange girl and their daughter is one of a strange kind."
He nodded in satisfaction, "you are a genius Max. So, how much are you giving them and when is the date?"
"I proposed fifty billion and booked a private restaurant for the date which we agreed on tomorrow."
"Good, just text me the time and place later on. I might not be at the office tomorrow"
"Okay sir"
He sighed and drew his tie, loosing it and letting his thought wander.
When he got home, he switched on the light and almost jumped out of his skin in shock when he saw a figure standing by his window.
"Rexy?!" he shouted in anger and shock that the entire estate shook.
"Surprise! Surprise brother! Your place looks very nice" he said sitting down on a sofa and crossing his legs.
"How did you find this place?"
"Won't you offer me anything to eat first before you crucify me?"
"You are not welcomed here and I don't want to ever see you here again!"
"Chill brother! I just came for a friendly chat about the princess….."
"I don't want to hear it, just leave!"
"I'll leave. By the way, I heard you are going on a date with a stunner tomorrow. Bad boy….. Did you want to taste one of this humans? You could have just asked me, I have a lot of them. And bro, they are so sweet..."
"Get out!" he shouted his eyes turning into burning embers of fire.
Rexy laughed loud and turned into a trail of smoke before disappearing.
His anger made him glow and burn. All the furniture in the living room got razed down immediately.
He needed to calm down before he cause more harm, so he went to soak in a cold bath.
But wait a minute, how did Rexy get to know about his date tomorrow?
He quickly grabbed his phone anxiously and dialed Max.
"Max, did you tell anyone about my date tomorrow? Why did you do that and how many people are aware?"
"Boss, I didn't tell anybody about this except from the restaurant you are going to be using tomorrow "Rosegold palace".
"Who is the owner of this place?"
"Mr Charles. But when I wanted an appointment, I couldn't reach him so I did it through his assistant…."
"This assistant, does he has a tattoo on his arm?"
"Yes, I remember seeing a tattoo….."
His phone dropped from his hands in fear and he trembled. Rexy is spreading his men on the surface of the earth already.
This is trouble! Big trouble! He can't find the princess first. His throne, the celestial city, the princess life…..!
No! He absolutely can't let him find her first!
