chapter 11- four days
The next day after sleeping in our wagon, we decided to explore silver dust, well Thalia wanted to show me around.
"Mango heaven!" my mouth watered as I stared at the fruit section. Thalia brought us to a fancy restaurant as always. She was surrounded by multiple clothes, shoes, accessories from each bag.
We went shopping at the crack of dawn, all because Thalia wanted to update her clothes or something.
"I don't know what to pick! Mango sticky rice? Slushie? yoghurt? Just the fruit!?" i blabbled.
"I never knew you liked mangoes this much. I'm quite surprised." Ravi said, looking at the menu. "Can she even hear me?" I sighed.
"She's always like this with mangoes" Thalia said calmly "when we travelled we used to eat fruits often and the fruit she chose were mangoes, no matter how many times she ate it" she giggled. "And now she's seeing options she has never seen before, she'll choose one soon hopefully. I feel like the only time she's expressive is when she sees mangoes.
"What if I get mango sticky rice, with a side of mango cubes, and mango smoothie? Or maybe a smoothie with peppermint, with some onigiris, and to top it off, mango mochi!?"
In the end, Nerina ended up getting everything mango related in the menu. She sat in satisfaction, quietly eating her meal.
"What about you? What do you want, Ravi?" Thalia asked.
"Hmm.. I guess I want Bibimbap, Gyeongdan and some watermelon juice!" Ravi glanced over the menu again.
"Okay! I'll treat myself to some soup and chicken dumplings, chai and! Tanghulu!" Thalia spoke before signaling the waiter to our table.
The waiter hurriedly headed towards the table. "Your majesty, are you ready to order?" she smiled gently.
"Yes I'd like some-" Thalia relayed their order to the waiter, before the maid walked away.
"You guys HAVE to try this, it's too good!" I said with my face rounded by the food in my mouth.
"Eat with your mouth closed," Ravi said with humour.
Thalia laughed out loud "you're so cute! You're like the boy version of Kian!"
"Huh? What's so cute about me eating?" I answered.
"Don't worry about it, don't worry" Thalia said, holding her stomach.
"Here's your meal your highness" the waiter said
"Thank you" thalia said, her laughing stopping immediately. "Here's your pay" she cleared her throat.
After everyone ate, we bought a small cottage for us three, as always, Thalia and Ravi were always arguing over anything.
"I'm not holding your bag, remember who literally BOUGHT it!" Ravi argued.
"My poor lady delicate hands, so unmanly of you Rav" Thalia exclaimed dramatically. "I'm tired, just help me this once"
"No" Ravi huffed.
"Well, whatever, i see how it is, you just want me to suffer don't you? You're so heartless" Thalia dragged her body dramatically.
"Fine" he groaned, "but next time you'll be holding my bag" Ravi said, holding some of her bags.
"Hey our apartment is here" I said looking at a small yet cozy cottage, surrounded by leaves, flowers and a small lake.
"Thalia, go put your bags in there, and let's go train." Ravi said.
"Fine, fine" Thalia snickered. Thalia walked into the cottage.
"What the hell is she even going to use all these clothes for?" Ravi sighed. "Does she wear all her clothes from her bags?"
"Yeah, everyday Lia wears something different, she can even make things not flashy, flashy. " I spoke. "I feel bad sometimes though, she's always buying things for me, and I don't, when we bought the cottage, only Lia and you brought out some money… I'll pay you two back someday" I smiled
"Well whatever you've been through, I'm sure that she doesn't mind, if she did,she wouldn't willingly do all this for you" Ravi comforted.
"I guess you're right" I relaxed.
"Finally!" Thalia groaned. "Guys guess what? my nail broke! It broke! My long natural nails, my hair went through it now it's short" she pointed to her finger. "I NEED to grow out my nails! Or get them done! before our training, I just have to!"
"Well Nerina, the next training will be target points, let's start walking,"
"Sounds interesting, new lesson." Nerina said
"My poor finger, I can't paint my nails now," Thalia cried.
"Hey wait! I'm joking! Don't leave me!" Thalia rushed to keep up. "Wait guys, I want to train too! I really hate you Ravi!"
