The transformation hit me like lightning splitting through my veins. Every nerve in my body screamed with newfound strength, muscles coiling with power I'd never experienced. Blood, sweat, and terror flooded my senses with overwhelming clarity.
I raised my head and released a growl that thundered across the battlefield.
Every attacking wolf stopped mid-strike. Their predatory eyes, burning with bloodlust, locked onto me. Even the beast crushing Alana beneath its weight paused, loosening its grip just enough for her to draw a desperate breath.
Rational thought vanished. My wolf had seized control completely.
I launched myself forward, claws digging into earth as I closed the gap in a heartbeat.
